Isn't it wonderful that decluttering our homes can be done in daily portions or otherwise smaller chunks of time?

We don't have to marathon it! (Although that can be soooooo helpful sometimes.)

Even when faced with a big project, taking it a CONSISTENT portion at a time will get us there! 8-)
One day we'll turn around and see a satisfying change.

What/where are you marathon-ing lately and what are you changing by your consistency?

I only had a couple little things to toss from my master closet today, but the kitchen, wow! There must have been at least 15 things, plastic and glass jars from the kitchen. I handed things to Sunny and asked her not to say anything about them as she put them in the recycling bin - some things were a bit hard to get rid of. It helped to have someone helping. We talked about how our lives have changed and that our needs are different now. It's important to live the lives we have now.

Reorganizing my "mud room" is a priority right now. We were so scared of not having boxes during the move that some are in the way now. (Of course, we still have things to transport but we can't give up floor space for it!) Also, the little refrigerator is going on a year of non-use now. I would like to convince HRH that it's just not important to keep it - so far, no luck. We need more attention to the recycling there. HRH gets in a hurry and neglects to break down cardboard like cereal boxes, that sort of thing. Recycling really doesn't take much space but you have to give it attention.
