June 2022, Decluttering by Design

Postby Harriet » Wed Jun 01, 2022 8:40 am

What ONE area of your home could you take notice of this month, work toward improving, and then enjoy a real difference? It can be stress-relieving and self-affirming to recognize an area that is causing some disappointment :( and notice yourself gaining control over it. When we can manage that, it can be hard to tell whether our home benefits more - or we do! :)

Does anyone have a deadline they'd like to share here, or a plan/schedule toward a particular date?

Have you had a success you'd like to share? It helps all of us to find out when one has made progress!

Be sure to include, ☙⊰ By Design ⊱❧ , some cheerful beautifying this year.

Made some progress on the garden zone.
I had gotten a lot of planters pots and containers for a garden idea I had.
But realize they did not work here too hot and dry stuff in the ground did much better.
So I decluttered one load at the start of spring.
I rounded up another batch and they have been washed and I put em in the trailer for now
to take to the trading post later when the weather is not stormy.
After that I need to go through the plant cage and get that in order.

Took one book to the trading cupboard today and did not bring one home.

Our back porch had gotten cluttered and I did a pretty good job of decluttering it except for a corner that needs HRH.
Also swept, swept, swept.

Hate to say it, but just like when my parents lived here, the back entrance almost becomes the one everyone sees, because of the way the driveway circles. You really hate to discourage it as an entrance in poor weather, because people do need convenience and comfort. Oh well, if you can't beat it, maybe join it? Maybe I can do some decorating there.

by Design. (smile)

I decluttered the patio so I could do ladder work on the gutters today.
