April, 2023 Clutter Control - Brief Showers of Attention

"Refreshing" is one of the words we might use to describe either decluttering OR April showers.

Just a brief rain shower can change the atmosphere so much, and when we take as little as 15 minutes a day to shower our homes with attention, we make a big difference, too.

Consider setting a timer. It reminds you that you can do anything for a short time, and with your own chosen end in sight, of 15, 30 or more, decluttering can become a game to see how much you can get done.

Work briskly like a sudden shower to refresh your surroundings. Whisk away some of the clutter that's been bugging you and let a clear surface shine through.

Ok, so I suppose this isn't much, but I threw away an old metal bucket. It's the only metal one we had but it was all flakey inside and rusty so I put it in the garbage and it's gone this morning. DH had it sitting in the bushes at the side of the house since before the last hurricane. I don't know why...but I'd sure hate to use that old thing. I suppose at some point he'll miss it...but too bad it's gone now!

I donated some items today at the church a book devo and stack of Bibles.
Also a prayer shawl.
They were in bags I had seamed up.
