Today counting the two hours house work I did this afternoon
sweeping and moping and walking to put clothes in a room
at the back of a place larger than ours is good for my exercise!
dd ran out of steam before I did that made me feel good,
but she ran the vacuum so was a bit more work than the dishes at
the end for me.

The stairs here helps me too!

Today after lounging most of the day
had to get up and move bs was 191
so I raked some leaves; then it was too low 49
can you say cookie break! LOL!

For dinner I had lean sausage patty deviled egg and
squash that I fixed like a sweet potato cinnamon and
splenda no butter this time. Yum and got some fiber.

Had herbal tea that helps me "go" found it
in the cupboard when I was looking for some thing else the
other day. I was glad to find that.
Feeling better now! :)

Hubby is getting on the mend from stuffy head and cough.
My ear was draining and is better this evening too.

Found paper plates for Turkey day dinner
we are going to skip rolls, stuffing and potatoes here
this year. Relish tray of olives, cheese, celery, carrots broccili etc. is something
we have done and is a hit with our family.
What healthier changes are you having for your Turkey day meal?

Some was asking about pinapple:
It contains 6g of carbs in a 50-gram portion.
One-half cup of pineapple chunks
contains 11g of carbs.

confetti for Mystery Woman, who has reached the 25-pound mark with Weight Watchers!
We are blown away, girl! How sensible and virtuous!

I also found really good Thanksgiving paper plates and napkins. We know in advance dd29 and family can't come until later, so either for those who can come on Thanksgiving, or for that family's visit, this will be helpful and keep the stress down. That's so important.

I wanted to mention to Harmony? I think about being super hungry and needing something NOW! I have found that Power Bar Recovery step 3 is excellent at giving you that instant relief. I don't know what the diabetic exchanges are though. Good source of protein and my trainer recommends eating within 2 hours of hard exercise. Also, a good source of info on high and low carb fruits and veggies can be found on the SouthBeach Diet website. Hope this helps someone!!

Thanks Lurkylou. I need to look at all the power bars and stuff like that. There are times I really need something.

Congratulations Mystery!
Was surprised looking at my little calorie book to find broccoli only has 25 calories for a whole cup. That's a pile on one's plate, almost too much to eat!

And happy to see one square of Hershey's special dark chocolate bar is 57 calories. Yep, I worked that right into the diet plan. Good way not to feel deprived.

And, I'm slowly losing, 153 1/2 this morning, I haven't been there for 2 years!

Harmony yea! Celebrating for you!

I'm trying to remember to increase my water intake
this week and it's helping me to be more regular.

For those of you that are diabetic what do you use for a "go bag".
To keep your supplies together and handy. Got my walk in this afternoon, swept
leaves off the deck, patio, front steps, and drive way also. Great weather here today
8-) yea!
