I've kept up my walking. sometimes longer or shorter.

It would be good to get back to regular gardening.

I think I've been eating better - to suit me. I'm learning to ease up on my ideal of a meal where healthy snacks are picking up any slack - and didn't exist before. weight is 51K. up a bit but ok. I need to work on muscle mass/ strength.
Just begin.
Living this day, today
Take a reality check; Remember to breathe; Do what I am able to do.
Look for the good in all.

I got the last two garbage cans of stuff loaded in the utility trailer yesterday
plus I took a short walk for my exercise on Sunday.
It's cloudy and we have rain in the forecast. [H. 53*/ L.40*]
Shopping may be my exercise today if it rains too much!

Day #4 of intentional exercise done.

Scales showed a 4 lb loss this week. YEAH! Watching what I eat in hopes of eliminating the pain is having a side effect of losing weight. A win-win I'm eating 5-6 times a day with each time being a volume of 1 cup or less of food.

Water, coffee, unsweet tea and cranberry juice are the only drinks I have now. I've eliminated DDPepper and DPepsi from my daily habits. I miss giving myself a "treat" but not the actual drink (if that makes sense)

I'm loving spring time & working in the veg garden. I try to get there at least once a day and make progress. The Salsa ingredient garden (tomato, peppers, garlic, onion) is almost all planted & is starting to take off. Still assembling the salad garden container (a Mothers Day gift from DH) and also working on design/layout of the Square Foot Garden section. Quilting and gardening are my 2 favorite hobbies....beside reading, surfing, baking....oh forget it....I'd better not try to list them all and sidetrack myself. I love so many things but especially love getting my hands into the dirt and watching things grow.

I've been doing somerthing everyday but I keep forgetting to post it. Sunday was a couple hours of vacuuming and mopping. Monday was gardening. Tuesday was 15 very energetic minutes on the eliptical. Today so far was strolling around in a store, but I think I need to do something more.

It occurs to me that I've always been a hard worker. We've been riding our bikes for over a year now. I've always done a bunch of outside work.

For this to make a difference in my weight and fitness I need to be adding more than the usual. ...sigh..... now how to do that...

I'm counting this swept the patio carport and drive way this morning.
Plus H. got the fire pit going and we cooked up lunch on it and burnt trash too.
Got the stuff I needed to get in the utility trailer loaded also.
While we were outside dgd#3 played in the play house and I picked it up a bit and
dusted it also. Hid colored golf balls for her to find like and helped her with that.
Back from my walk pushing dgd in the stroller too phew I'm not used to these warmer temps. yet!
8-) Love the nicer weather, tomorrow t~storms are in the forecast.

Just staying active with the grandkids is a lot of exercise, Nancy!

Today's exercise: 30 min bike ride and later walked around the block. It takes me 13 minutes to go around this block if I am walking at a brisk pace. Staying on target with my calories and water too. I seemed to be stuck again so started marking down calories and 1/2 lb. lost so that must have been it.

Lucylee says she is starting an exercise plan... phooey on that. Who am I kidding???
I have done NOTHING this week -- except vacuum two days. I guess I can count that.
Maybe I do better with the structure of the school bells. * sheesh *
Tomorrow is another day.

Love the great weather that we've been having here!
Took dgd on a walk she got out of the stroller at one point and
helped me to push it down a hill so she got some exercise too.
H. has been riding bike with dgson after home work.
