BBR and Sleep

Postby Lynlee » Thu Sep 02, 2010 8:24 pm

There`was`a`site`someone`refered`me`to..sleepwarrior.com
currently`closed`for`maintence...If`anyone`wants`info`I`have`it`in`yahoo`stored`emails.
So`can`get`it...`though`it`would`be`better`to`go`through`process`with`Jeff`who`
owns`the`domain.(There`were`daily`emails`for`a`while,mp3`recordings,an`ebook)
-It`was`free`info.
Keeping`a`sleep`diary`was`part`of`the`suggestions.

My`stats`from`Aug...(Aiming`to`improve`this`month)
into`bed`11PM-`12AM=`2`nights
    12-`1AM=`9
    1-`2AM=`9
    2-3AM=`6
    3-4AM=`2
    :?: Didn't`record=`3
sleep`guestimate`stats=...1night`of`8hrsYay;`2@`7
Mostly`6hrs,`Almost`there`at`5,`1`at`4...approx`10`no`recorded
Time`resting`in`bed...Varied`from`11hrs`to`6hrs`-when`noted.
Time`I`take`is`to`whole`hours..

So`far`this`month`bedtime/lights`out`=`2X`between`12.20`and`12.45.
Claiming`5`hrs`sleep`each`night.

PS...Sleep`warrior`does`believe`in`naps.`I`don't`often`nap`unless`I'm`falling`asleep.
Maybe`I`need`a`slot`in`my`checklist`for`naps.
Just begin.

Last`night`7`hrs`in`bed....Broken`sleep.
The`night`was`much`warmer...`and`I`had`eaten`differently`and`later`than`normal.
My`BBR`by`10.30pm`is`now`reinstated.`I`can't`expect`to`sleep`longer`if`I'm`not`in`bed.
I'm`not`aiming`to`go`to`bed`then...Just`be`ready`for`bed.
Last`night`I`missed`it`to`eat..
`as`my`late`dinner`of`vege`soup``did`not`feel`like`sleep.
Then`I`crochet'd`a`while.

On`the`plus`side...
It`no`longer`takes`me`an`hour`to`wake`up`enough`to`move`and`rise.
Last`few`days`7.30am`is`the`new`normal`rising`time.

Sweet`dream
PS...If`you`want...Post`your`own`aims`and`progress.
For`my`part`I'm`hoping`
the`really`late`nights`change`by`holding`myself`accountable`here.
Just begin.

Stopping by to encourage you in your quest for establishing good sleeping habits.

It's 9:45pm and i'm ready to shut down for the night. Hopefully I'll sleep until 6am which will give me 8 hours of sleep (minus the 1-2 times I get up with LO during the night).

bedtime`was`10.45`and`quality`of`sleep`was`better`until`just`before`dawn.

I`think`its`headed`in`the`right`direction.
I`need`to`realise`how`long`bbr`takes

To`have`any`hope`of`10pm`bedtime`I`need`be`out`of`LR`at`least`by`9.30
unless`all`is`ready`for`bed.There`are`my`book/summeries.
I`may`need`tweek`puta`/TV`off`times`to`enable`that.

Tips for getting good bed rest I've picked up along the way.

Avoid heavy meals before bedtime.

1/2 hr. before bed turn off violent t.v. and
listen to soothing music or read.
Establish a bed time routine with prayer mediation knitting or
whatever relaxes you before bed toss your worries in the trash.

There are a few more I'll add them as I think of them.
