What I Ate and Didn't Eat in November

I am back. While I was figuring this out I stayed away. I am eating healthy once again.

I got tired of not eating.

I was going to begin posting what I ate beginning with today. So tomorrow you will see what I ate.

Anyone want to join me again.

One of the simpliest ways of eating healthy is the plate method. 1/4 of the plate starch, 1/4 of the plate protein and 1/2 of the plate vegetables and fruit. It is simple and good for us.

I'll play for today.

Breakfast: Bite-size shredded wheat, a banana and approx 1 cup skim milk, including milk in coffee
also an International flavors coffee creamer, divided over two cups of coffee
Lunch: Bowl of chili from home
Supper: two slices Dominos pepperoni pizza

Snack: Diet coke on the way to work (I've weaned myself of off fast-food second breakfast at least)
wine, a slice of American cheese and low fat triscuits


Not particularly healthy, altho it could be worse....

Breakfast: apple pie filling for my fruit with some granola sprinkled on top.
egg including cocoa in coffee;
also an sug. free coffee creamer, x2 in two cups of coffee

Lunch: Bowl of home made soup & cookie

Snack: counting this cookie and then another half or 3/4ths of one and a half plus 2 mini candy bars, I was having a blood sugar crash sigh!
Slice of hot petter cheese and peanuts for protein to balance that out.
Diet coke

Supper: T.B.A. {salad I think.}

Yesterday -
Smoothie (cherry, peach, banana, blackberry, almond milk)
7-layer salad for one
ChickFilA carrot and raisin salad, 2 chicken strips, Pepsi
Homemade vegetable soup

6 or more veggie/fruits, virtually no gluten, a little too much salt

Today -
Smoothie (cherry, peach, banana, blackberry, almond milk)
chicken breast, 1/2 biscuit, Pepsi
7-layer salad for one
HotDog with lots of slaw and Funyuns, almond milk

an iffy day - 5 veggie/fruits, but some gluten choices and salty choices I should have avoided.

The Pepsi has reappeared in my eating plan - how did that happen?

Yesterday -
B: Cup of milk, vitamin, coffee
L: 1/2 Salmon patty with large salad (green lettuce, bell peppers, tomatoes), 2 oreo cookies
S: 3/4 apple
D: 1/2 Salmon patty with macroni salad, 2 Oreo cookies
S: 1/2 cup grape juice

I'm not back in my good eating routine yet, however I'm thankful the scale took a u-turn and is headed in the right direction now. :D

Surprised to see scale's one-pound frown at me today because of hotdog last evening - just goes to show what the wrong choice can do.

Today so far
Smoothie - pineapple, peach, blackberry, banana, almond milk
7 layer salad for one, Biscuit (oops)
Subway tuna and swiss on flatbread with veggies
Ritz crackers

Monday -

B: cereal, milk, peaches
S: orange
L: soup, cheese, crackers, milk, apple
S: grapes
D: beef, salad, 1/2 roll, cooked sweet peppers, pears
S: international coffee made with milk, 2 cookies

Tuesday -

L: Spinach and vegetable omelet, grits, fruit salad (Bob Evans)
S: V-8
D: Roast beef sandwich with mozzarella, pizza sauce, sweet peppers, sliced tomatoes, milk
S: pears, cookies, milk

I am doing so much better on my eating. I'm back to my normal eating.

I have been doing a good job eating:

Breakfast - cereal, milk and fruit
snack - fruit
lunch - soupm salad and fruit
snack - fruit
dinner - either soup, salad and milk or protein, vegetable, starch, salad and milk
snack - fruit, milk, cheese or cookies

I am behind on individual days but I have been consistent on eating and getting all my food groups in.
