The scales showed a
4.4 weight loss this morning!
I know it is water weight loss, but there is a part of me that doesn't care WHY - I just like seeing the smaller #.

review & analysis - the batter fried squash is only eaten at this time of the year, so I'm not going to stress over the fat being too high today. Protein and starches were reduced which balanced the calories out.
