Of the three others I'm 'friends' with on fitbit, one has consistently 3K more steps than me per day, the others are under by that much although both were close to me when I started watching them.

I walked a mile on the treadmill and stopped due to being tired. I just want to go to bed so will. Slept better last night and my sugar intake was down some so that holds up the correlation between the two.

Weight is up a half pound and will be up more tomorrow due to pizza tonight. On the other hand, my eating is slowly returning to semi-healthy. I'm still having a lot of cheetos but the soda is banished for now. And I'm snacking less because I can eat when I'm hungry so eat a full, healthy-ish meal when I'm hungry and don't eat when I'm not.

Tummy is slowly returning to normal. I'm still using the probiotics and probably will for at least a week, to let my system build up healthy bacteria again.

I am weaning off candy this week sigh slipped a bit.
I have stalled on the ex. So far today except for extra trips to check on hens outside every 2 hrs. Next up I will be on the ex. Bike watching dude your screwed. (Got up and did dishes spiffed up the kitchen. Cut up homemade pickles h. Brought home from work yum!) Deviled eggs were a hit. Soup for dinner great weather for that.

Trying to remember chores that do give me steps like vacuuming and laundry even checking on the laundry counts.

10 mi. On ex. Bike done.
Increased the difficulty on the total gym by increasing the incline up to the next setting & got a good arm work out in tonight.
Did 30 min instead of 20 mon. On the gazelle.

2nd week of November CI on my goals for this month -

Goal #1 - keep on with daily treadmill & adding tiny increases
Week 2 results -
Added 9 more minutes this week
Added 0.289 more miles this week

Goal #2 - Average 8500 steps daily
Week 2 results - average 8672 steps

Goal #3 - Lose 5 lbs
Not doing well with this. Although I weigh less than I did on Nov 1st, I'm not going to make this goal if I don't kick it up.

My treadmill is broke.

What am I going to do?

I don't want to purchase a new one in the middle of showing house and moving.

I don't want to stop my 3 month of effort to develop the treadmill habit.

I won't go to the gym.

Grrrrrr............

Boo LadyM... I feel for you

Tomorrow I start a 6 week bootcamp type program. The fellow who runs this is giving the girls in our group a discount to do his program. It will be a M,W,S day class with a nutrition class a s well. When he asked me what my goal was, I told him I wanted to be able to open pickle jars... He promised that and more.

My weight is stable. I am holding and maintaining which is what I wanted. I'm allowing my body to adjust and reset it's self before I venture to lose my last seven pounds.

Maintaining takes much more focus on my part than loosing. From past experiences I knew it would. I have added just a few extra carbs like oatmeal and an occasional piece of bread back into my weekly food. I have even eaten a few cookies as well. Trick is not to over do it.

I am not worried abt T-day as we eat very healthy skipping the fancy veggie dishes, but rather focus on streamed or grilled types. I am lucky that my family eats this way, but even if they didn't i would still cook this way for myself. However I will be making my Lindsay ny cheesecake with a ganashe topping which has been requested. As long as I can "cover" it when in the refrigerator with something like towel I will be alright. Will hide it on the bottom shelf because for me it's.... Out of sight, out of mind AND mouth.

I ended up in third place (out of 7) on my weekday fitbit challenge with just under 49,000 for the week - close enough to my goal of 10K per day that I feel pretty good. The top walker had 98K, then second with 77K, and there were 4 of us between 44K and 49K.

Thinking I will do it again this week.

I loooooove youtube! I swear anyone can learn to do anything there.

Treadmill is working again. All it took was watching a few youtube repair videos and following directions.

**PHEW!!**

This mini scare showed me how dedicated I am to staying on track with treadmill exercise. I'm kinda surprised. It would have been a perfect excuse to let the developing habit slide.

Cheering for your endeavors and success!! This thread is motivating!! Hooah!!
