I seemed to balance out at a starting weight from the weight loss just from being sick. I lost a couple pounds from Christmas to now. Today I made us an angel food cake. A tiny piece of that if I have enough calories left is better than a cookie or especially better than a doughnut because of the fat. I can't do a whole evening without having something. It's also better than ice cream. All the things I love!

Harmony: I'm using the Kelloggs Vector peanut bar as my go-to as a treat. I need mine in the afternoon, not evening. It has 11g of protein, chocolate, peanuts, is chewy like a square and goes well with a cup of tea. If I shop carefully they work out to 50 cents each which is expensive but not as bad as real protein bars.

Slow start to the new year. One day at a time. Concentrating on liquid. Got it in today but don't most days.

Did 20 minutes floor exercise - T-Tapp. Back was feeling iffy, so its better now.
Harmony, I noticed you did some, too.

I replaced the lost DVD - got it on sale. On the one hand, I feel foolish, because I have simply misplaced a thing (or my family has) and could come across it at any time. On the other hand, this is a plan I have for increasing my fitness (next step up in floor work) and if I'd lost exercise clothes, or not gotten home from grocery with a healthy food, I would replace that. On the chance I find it, I'll give the other to dd35.

I've been making my veggie sandwiches again -
carrots and squash/zucchini shredded in food processor,
mixed with a little Duke's Mayonnaise,
thin strips of cucumbers across the sandwich
on a pita or other bread.

Great for getting in extra veggies. If there's more of the shredded/mayo mixture than I need right away, I find it saves well in a baggie in the fridge. I think this was a Fit for Life basic recipe, to which they would suggest adding sprouts, avocado, or whatever you liked. And of course they made their own mayo.

Did my Cross Fitness (CF) class at 5 this morning. I like doing it then because I can still sub that day. Usually if i don't do my class early I don't get it done. It helps that I have a partner. I drive so it keeps me more accountable.

I started an othe diet bet today. After being sick, with tons of meds and eating weird I am up two pounds from my "danger" mark. Been back on plan since last week so I am not too worried about it.

Hope to get on my gazelle after dinner tonight while I watch a few tv shows.

Missed on my 10K steps yesterday and the day before, after a streak of several days over 10K. I've not been eating very well, but am more cognizant of what I'm eating. I did get rid of most of the desserts in the house, the rest don't worry me.

"Calendar event" coming up in a little more than 4 weeks. Five lbs?

I'm a little over 8K steps so far, so will make 10K I think. I'll need to walk the ddog and can do some house walking.

There. I've completed a food diary for today. Way over on calories but my macronutrient mix was excellent.
