So glad you are happier with your days, Indiana!

Little eggs have made cheerful breakfasts lately. HRH likes to do "over easy" and flip in the pan, quite festive with many tiny yolks to see peeking in even a small pan. Today (Mon) I decided to start my week off with the Prevention breakfast menu I like but had to substitute corn chex which have a lot of air in the same space as flakes would've had flakes! LOL! I was pouring more cereal after all. I like this because it literally takes a long time to eat (because of the seeds) and you have the feeling you ate a lot only because of the time, not fullness otherwise.

Monday Eating
1/4 cup raw sunflower seeds; sing. serv. unsweet. applesauce
1 cup Corn Chex with 1 cup 2% milk
cheeseburger w/tomato and lettuce, small Pepsi
small piece of fish in Italian sauce, slaw
2 Quaker granola bars

Tuesday Eating without household water
banana
Lean Cuisine Squash Ravioli
small Pepsi
Cici's Green Pepper Pizza, 3 slices
If you don't believe in miracles, you're not being realistic.

Harriet I agree!!!

That is why I have cheerios in the morning with banana and milk or yogurt on top. Because of the crunch it does seem like I ate alot. Another reason I have cheerios, etc. is I can hve it deconstructed. If I have the munchies in the morning. I will have the banana and then the yogurt or milk and finally I will pick at the cheerios like eating popcorn or a snack food like chips or whatever.

I switch cereals too. It is time to get cereal. Dh likes honey chex (too sweet for me), I like other chex or life.

I love cereal... so much so that if I have Frosted Mini Wheats in the house, I know in advance that I will gain weight.

Monday -- Jan. 19
banana, pb crackers, dry Special K Protein Plus cereal, diet coke
3 slices turkey, 1 slice low-fat cheese, 6 low-salt Triscuits, flavored water
2 Nature Valley granola bars
flavored water
carrot sticks
chili w/beans, crackers, salad, a few strawberries, diet coke
about 1 1/2 cups strawberries w/just a teeny bit of sugar
one 90-calorie pack of rice cake snacks

Tues. -- Jan. 20
banana, dry Special K Protein Plus cereal, diet coke
granola bar, water
hamburger, french fries, carrot sticks, almonds, diet coke
almonds, rice cakes
chicken fingers, french fries  (I know) diet coke
hot fudge sundae (I don't know what I was thinking. I need a brain.)

Wed. -- Jan. 21
I don't know why I keep doing this... journaling, I mean. I don't really see that it is helping me much, but maybe if I keep at it, I will eventually be too embarrassed to eat the stupid things. Everything I read says journaling is a major step in weight loss.
banana, dry Special K Protein Plus cereal, diet coke
flavored water
2 slices turkey, 1 slice low-fat cheese, granola bars (1 pkg of 2 Nature Valley brand)
flavored water
carrot sticks, rice cakes, pb crackers
* I think the rice cakes probably have too much sugar/carbs and trigger hunger. I haven't looked at the label, but it seems that they always make me want something else to eat.
1 slice thin crust pepperoni/sausage pizza
6" subway club sandwich on wheat bread, no mayo/etc., baked potato chips, chocolate cookie, diet coke

I've been eating a small bowl of All Bran Complete either for b'fast or for an afternoon snack. It is very low in WW points; a serving with milk is 1.75 points, but I usually say at least 2 b/c I don't measure too carefully. It is fortified; I don't take vitamins.

I haven't been posting my eating. I need to get back to doing this.

Monday, Jan. 19 -- 25.5 pts.

tea, coffee, banana 3 pts.
wrap w/ turkey, tomato, onions, sm. bowl of cereal 4.5 pts.
teax2 1 pt. (I put a bit of sugar, maybe 1/2 tsp., and a bit of milk in my tea)
1 clementine, 1 serving fat free pretzles 3 pts.
supper - 1 cup rice, chili, cheddar cheese, 2 sm. pieces cornbread, sweet potatoes w/ butter and sugar 14 pts.?

Tuesday, Jan. 20

teax2 1 pt.
turkey wrap, banana, blob of cookie dough  6.5 pts.
oatmeal w/ 1T brown sugar, grapes 4 pts.
dinner: 1 cup rice, chicken cacciatore, grated parmesan, mixed veggies, 3 thin slices baguette 14 pts.
