Kept procrastinating on my cardiac but finally got started -that's all I have to do: "Just Begin!" Takes about 45 minutes to do it all -at least right now. With all the rain today didn't get out to walk, but hoping for a somewhat decent # of steps before day's end. Now have completed 7 days in a row and will start a new week tomorrow. Have to go look to see how many days I did before I committed to doing it every day! Editing: Between November 16th & December 2nd I had only managed to do them for 10 days. So 10 out of 18 days. Guess that wasn't horrible since it was only 3 weeks post heart attack. I'm now at 6 weeks. Thanks for the encouragement.

Good job on the seven days, Deel We will look forward to seven more next week, right? :)

That's funny about the Daily Dozen, Harriet. I do get into a bit of trouble with it though, when I decide to eat one more healthy thing just to get a higher score, even though I am not at all hungry. I know better and should DO better! :D

The Yukon potatoes with beans, corn and guac sounds really good. Beans, rice, and corn have been one of my go-to combinations for years. I add some olives and salsa sometimes, but the guacamole sounds yummy! I made a huge pot of split pea soup with lots of carrots, onions, and Yukon Gold potatoes today.

I think I did make my 50K step goal for the week that ended yesterday. But I have been eating cr@p all weekend! We have cookies and fudge from dh's clients, brisket and latkes from Friday night at temple and fancy appetizers from dh's work party for clients.

But the food won't last forever. I really try not to keep stuff that like around!

records are so smart Dee. Also inspiring. good job. you inspire me to get busy on my recordkeeping 2019.

I added in t-tapp workouts again, thinking maybe Mon/Wed/Fri. I've been away from those particular DVDs a while, mostly because I had to mentally come to grips with a videotaped teacher who, to my mind, has always meant current leadership, being deceased at the time I now watch. Obviously, I know I'm far from the first video exerciser who encountered this situation, but it took my brain a while anyhow. I suppose there was grief involved, as there is any time we lose someone who has been an example to us, but certainly nowadays when we have video of just about everything.

I made my goal of 50K steps for the week that ended on Sunday, and made a goal of over 7K steps the last two days. After a morning meeting and a funeral I'm only at 1700 for today so I need to get on it today somehow. I might walk around the block a few times after I walk ddog later this afternoon.

How are you going LadyM? Its always harder when you are unwell. I think you taking care of you is called for in all the busy-ness that is your life these days. Maybe a doctor's visit? Just for you?

I've managed 3 days that featured 3 meals, and 2 days with suppliments, so that's a start.
 :? I've still been eating the nut bars but the box is almost empty, and I'll need to keep my eyes right to walk past them in the shopping aisle, and not notice a flutter of special tickets when its their turn to wear those.
Just begin.
Living this day, today
Take a reality check; Remember to breathe; Do what I am able to do.
Look for the good in all.
