That does seem like a lot LadyM, but you are far more active than I am. MFP estimates only 1400 or so for me to lose a lb a week. BTW, AH WOE doesn't count calories at all, I'm getting it from MFP as as side benefit to computing macros by meal.

Well I’m happy to say I will be starting back at the gym with my beloved, at the moment, trainer on Monday.

He politely reminded me that Monday’s are squat days... I’ll let you know how much I still love him when I try to roll out of bed on Tuesday lol.

I’m really looking forwards to this... I needed to get my body back in shape as my son wants to do a Spartan race with me come next February to celebrate my 70th  birthday. I am beyond thrilled abt the idea because it is something I’ve wanted to do with him for a long time.

I trust Jason, my trainer, and know he will be able to help me achieve this goal.

Just reading of how many of us 'insist' on retesting some tempting item.
My latest poison was a tub of icecream, bought without even reading the additives.
How ill I'm feeling in the mornings and later on.
Yes, slowly I'm remembering this is why I desisted with cow's milk.
Then there is also the 160b I warned everyone else about just before I bought it.
I think it is the milk protein though, recognising the symptoms finally.
The ice cream wasn't actually all that nice, for all its tempting.
Now if I was wise I'd toss the offending item.
Its taking up freezer realestate with no good reason of possible future benifet.

It is all a reminder I suppose of why I need to be consistant and not make exceptions that become more and more insistant.
Time to do the hard yards again.
Just begin.

Restart is a good word Lynlee.

I restarted my eating program 4 days ago and have stayed on target. Not trying to get on the scale or at least another two weeks

Yes to a restart RRose.
I'm still feeling ill. I guess I need that to remind me to take the needed effort.
I did buy a cooked chicken, with all its hidden nasties. There is likely MSG rubbed all over, and stuffing featuring gluten even though I aim to avoid that. I was wanting a meal with less effort. I need to cut the chicken up and freeze it.

I've tried to follow Nancy's lead and walk more. I miss having a dog to take me out.
Yesterday I walked to the store. It was too dark to walk home, though I could change my mind about that. The road is well lit and busy enough in the stretch without houses.
Just begin.

Staying on my eating plan... don’t want to weigh for a month, but I have a drs appointment on Tuesday so I’ll know how much I’ve lost so far. Won’t step on it again for another three weeks.

And I walked two miles on my gazelle. May take my first swim today as well.

I start the day with the best intentions but am struggling to keep focus. So many distractions.

Reminding myself.....
Just don't give up.

I put the icecream out of the freezer/fridge this morning. It will be easier to dispatch once there is no going back.
Cooked my seed cereal mix this morning. Trying to make good choices at each meal.
Just begin.
