I came home from SLC and weighed in yesterday at only .6 over what I weighed the day I left (after two two-hour flights home) and this a.m. I had dropped to a new low number. Of course, I know I'll be up and down for awhile but I am going slowly in the right direction.
Away I didn't get exercise except for walking to the library, and was in class all day. The day after I arrived, I walked to the library in the morning, then the nearby specialty grocery for a late salad bar lunch and picked up some groceries for the week on the way back. Then I walked back to the library for the 9 - 11 p.m. lock-in on Sat night (Mountain time, mind you!) I did take the shuttle back that night at 11, but I had 9300 steps that day. Sunday, Monday and Wednesday I didn't go to the library at all. The rest of the time I walked to the library and back, and also had a fair amount of steps inside the library retrieving books and microfilm.
I had a full breakfast buffet with the Gold status at the hotel so had scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage and fruit for breakfast daily. Had part of a croissant once, and a tiny "blintz" that wasn't very good another. At lunch I had some entrees from the specialty grocery, or the "grab and go" wrap or salad lunch. Ate a big ole burger one night and fish tacos another but generally light suppers too.
