I have been mostly watering bc of the heat.
yesterday I hired a young man to help me with the back - it's expensive but worth it.
he planted my 3 hydrangea's that I had for a month.

starting to close up the garden.
I have brought the ivy in (transplanted)
made fall pots for outside
starting list to order for next year
ordered mulch but it hasn't come yet.
emptied some pots and put them in the garage

I transplanted apple trees.
Tried to find bulbs unsuccessfully.
Working on unloading dirt planters and fall yard clean up has been under way.
Reseeded and fertilized this month.
Hoses still need drained and put away but not quite time for that yet.

I'd like to plant some bulbs if we ever get cooler weather. Saw a weather forecast earlier that said "today is the last day of summer" because we're getting cooler air in overnight.
