I love zinnias d twins.. yes they are sooo cheerful!!! I feel that way about pansies too!

yay on cutting the vines d Nancy!

I put all but 2 chairs in the 3 season room for me to paint (iron) this winter
put the large pot I just bought in the 3 season room
put the chaise lounge in 3 season room
moved the freezer to a different spot so that it is easy to get into the back door-being in a wheelchair helped me see how difficult it was to get in and out of that door to the yard- swept and swiffered mopped underneath - moved small fridge where the freezer was and put all the drinks in there - flavored water, gatorade (for illness in winter), some ginger-ale, bottled water.

I need to move the small table into the 3 season room ( I have lots of paint projects this winter)

I still need to plant bulbs - today was 30 degrees so I think it is a good time to do it.
it is always a joy to be here with you!

Cheering on Nancy, Blessed and Twins who have reported in more recent times.

Today I mowed slowly - the only pace possible for me atm - until the battery turned on its red light.
Mower was 'done', bin now half full, and I have a walkway to the street.
Its maybe half done - the to the street section.

At this rate it will take a long time.

Rain has set in again.
Just begin.

I have raked, bagged up, and hauled off leaves, it took 2-3 weeks.
Thank you for the encouragement.

Yesterday I mowed the strip to the road.
Got into the outward growing ferns and some bulbs plants along the treed fence line. Helpers never go there and it shows. I used the pivot the front of the mower up, move forwards, then let the mower down on the long whatever , including that long wisp of elm tree that wants to be, method.
Pulled doc seed heads as I found them.
I ended up red faced for hours afterwards. Next time I need to listen to neighbours who tell me to stop. I'll ask them to tell them if my face is the bright red again. Sun was nowhere in the area so it wasn't that. that stayed bright red.
None the less - I'm glad I did it, as no one else bothers to do the needed push back to the tree line.

Today I'm feeling it. In bygone years I found attending to hydration inc salt replenishment helped prevent that.

I'll give it a rest before I mow another section.

I have to attack a giant palm frond into the bin for today's curb placement.
The taller the palm gets, the longer they seem to be.
Just begin.
