Yesterday I pulled a few tree seedlings from my driveway.
I'm using LadyM's - one a day is the goal, extras are wonderful, method.
ExCyclone Seth had brought us bands of downpours since about midnight.
I have my gardening long pants on, and boots, hopeful to get out pulling some of the unwanted from along a fence when weather permits. That could be in lieu of taking a walk. 20 min the aim. It might need to be intermittant.
Nancy - You have so many winter outdoor tasks to keep your household functioning smoothly and not be snowed in, or snowed under later.
LadyM - I hassard to say your legs are involved as you do those stationary jobs mixing compost and placing blocks. Don't downplay the effort your whole body makes.
I have a chance now at some weeding. Some could be done if not the 20min. pooof
Did 10 min - up to the palm tree. Lots of baby palms pulled up there. Wisdom would sweep up the seed pods.
The good news is the bulb plants that grow so out of control have mostly displaced 'bladey grass' in that part at least. It has runners, sharp edges and digs itself in more than the bulbs.
The bulb plants are more easy to pull out with the bulb.
Misty rain out.
I'll try for more, or a walk, later.
Just begin.
Living this day, today
Take a reality check; Remember to breathe; Do what I am able to do.
Look for the good in all.
