Nancy, I am interested to see from recent posts on PWYC that you knit too. I had not realized that before. Lately I haven't knitted a stitch but am at present trying to get myself motivated to get back to it because I do enjoy it. So, nothing to report at this time but hopefully soon......

Mama P. I was glad to see your post
I'm looking forward to hearing all about your projects!

I have a project nearly ready to come off the needles now
it's a raspberry colored 4 ply yarn
done in knit 2 purl 2 for two rows then reverse
it looks like the blackberry stitch only easier.

Another hoodie in camo colors for dgson that he requested is coming along nicely.
It's a rib knit.

Nancy, what do you do with the prayer shawls you make?

I got some sewing time in this morning, only one little spot left to do about 1 sq. foot.

I know ddil received a prayer shawl from the women at her ddad's church & she takes it with her for chemo treatments. Think I'd like to be learn how to make them too -it would give me something meaningful to do. Perhaps I'll research it some after seeing ddil's (when I get north). Know she was very touched when she received hers.
Begun is half done -SO! JUST BEGIN!!

I give the stuff that I make away,
to various people and causes as I feel "lead".

Nancy, that's a very nice thing for you to do.

Well, finally I am here to announce that all my hand quilting is done - on this quilt at least. I could have finished it a few days ago but I guess I took my time knowing there was not much left. Also, doing the binding will be a little bit of a challenge for me, so I've been getting up my courage to do this part. I've done it before and I can do it again. However, this is the biggest quilt I have made thus far.

Thinking thinking about next quilt which needs to be made. Rethinking pattern, need something a bit easier, quicker than the sunbonnet sue with all its applique.
