Harriet I love that about Eleanor B. the tossing it over her shoulder, and
that you are finishing things instead of just talking about it! ! !

We had rain rain and more rain here yesterday,
so it was a great day for knitting
and I'm to the halfway point of the
current tweedy tan prayer shawl project
I'm working up in a checker board k4 p4 pattern.

Yep, Eleanor Burns is my favorite TV quilter. She makes things look so easy. I like the historical things she talks about.

I stayed up way too late last night, got the binding all sewed. It turned out perfectly, no puckers, no flat spots either and perfect mitered corners.

Got some teal yarn for my next prayer shawl
thought it would be a fun color to work up.

If any one wants to know what I'm doing this memorial day weekend read on:

I've added another couple of rounds on two granny squares these are great
projects for spring / summer very portable. I'm adding the teal color on these
a nice compliment goes well with the other colors and I felt like I was "stuck" with
this project it was not big enough so I'd stalled out now maybe I can have something
to work with in the bigger size blocks. Taking it slow a block or two a day is enough progress any more than that and my arm and elbow get sore.

I also started a teal colored prayer shawl.

I've gotten another batch of yarn on the tweedy tan project 2/3rds of it is now done.

I'm thinking ahead and want to do something in a lace pattern the knitting daily show
on p.b.s. this morning in place of the knit and crochet now show that I usually watch in it's place today got me inspired to think about a scarf. This would be a great smaller project to work with for that!

Nancy, you sure stay busy! I get a sore shoulder from too much knitting or crocheting. I think I hold my arm funny as I work.

My quilt is done. Worked on it on and off while DGSs were off playing cards with DH. Got the sleeve made & attached, put a label on it, and I took off any quilt markings left this morning.

Tonight I got out my graph paper book and planned out DD1's quilt. All those materials are washed and ironed. I will likely not get it done by her shower, but maybe by the time baby is born, I hope.

It's faining here today and has been for a while by the standing water I see across the street;
so I'll be doing more needle work after I spiff up the kitchen.
Thinking of a lace pattern in knit I want to work with;
I've not done much of that been looking for a pic. on line found one.
I'm thinking maybe a dish cloth to practice it with first.
