Wow, your card is beautiful! You are really creative. How was the owl punched? Was the outline punched and you added the green and the eyes?

The owl punch cuts out all the pieces including the eyes and the area on on the front that are green and orange. So had to punch in brown, white, and the color on front for each owl, then assemble the needed parts. The eyes punch as three layers (brown, white, then brown) and are assembled w a little glue and tweezers. The layout is copied from an example in the Stampin' up catalog for an "I love you" card.

I'm glad you like it; I think the recipients will, too!

That is such a cute card, Twins! Your thoughtfulness will be so appreciated. I know, b/c our former asst principal was always doing special cards like this, and the extra touch meant so much to me.
Tomorrow is another day.

Lovely`card`Twins.

I`worked`out`the`turns`between`the`attached`(next`row)`squares..
after`a`heap`of`attempts`and`unravelling.
`I'm`not`sure`how`to`write`what`I`do`in`crochet`language.

2/3`totally`attached`2nd`row`yesterday.
Just begin.
