hope today: do some decorating with dd15
picking up dog food/cat food/bird food. reminded dh about his meds.

next week I need to get the Christmas tree.
for health: exercise walk a bit. drink my water and have my fruits and veggies.

New Habit for December 2010 - Pampering!!!

Spend a few minutes each day taking care of yourself. Take time to
rest! Eat good food and drink your water. Then do something really
special for yourself: a bubble bath to relax, sit with a cup of
something warm or enjoy a few minutes reading your favorite book.

December is filled with hustle and bustle! Slow down and give yourself
a gift of pampering! You can do anything for 15 minutes! Even pamper you!

fly lady:
"Let's make today a fun day! Are there any homemade gifts that you have not finished? Cookies that need to be baked or mixes like cafe' mocha that you have not put together yet? Let's get all of these done and ready to be delivered. If you need cookie recipes they are on our website. Check out the Cruising Through the Holidays section for recipes. Turn on some favorite music and have fun! This is what Cruising through the Holidays is all about!"

for me: do more decorating... my motto - a little at a time does wonders. also dropping off all christmas I will no longer use at local donation spot: including gift bags, wrapping paper, decorations no longer in use to bless someone this holiday.
it is always a joy to be here with you!

where do you put the creche dnancy? I like your motto!

HOLIDAY SUPER CRUISING MISSION #12 (from flylady)

Tomorrow is anti-procrastination day. Do you have cards that have not been mailed yet or packages? Get them ready now. Take 15 minutes and do as many cards as you can. They don't have to be perfect. The United States Post Office website says that December 15th is the last day for Parcel Post, December 20th for 1st Class and Priority mailing in the United States to insure that packages arrive by December 25th. Also is there anything that you have not ordered? Take the time today to get all of these things prepared
and ready to mail!!

Every little thing done is progress, right Nancy?

I looked at clothes today with an eye towards going away. I only have a few pairs of slacks that I wear in the winter. No use loading up closet with heavy winter stuff that I only wear for a couple months. I'll wear the odds and ends from now until the holiday except for Sunday church so my nicer stuff is ready to pack. Washed one of my holiday shirts so its ready to go too.

I did pick up Rx so that's ready.

Step by step we're getting there.
