I started a smaller prayer shawl using up odds and ends from the granny squares I took out
a while back I"m really enjoying this project.

Ds26 has a good heart. He saw the completed houses quilt for the first time and stood back and stared. Then he walked up to it and examined each part. He chose his favorite house. He chose the one he thought would be ddil's favorite. He listened to dd12 tell her favorite. He denied that the quilting was too dense and said I worried too much. He stood back and stared again for a while. Then he said, "Mom, that is AWESOME". He can't come around too much but he does make an effort to understand me when he's here.

I continue planning the baby quilt. I wonder if having the center already has actually made it harder for me to do this than if I'd started from scratch. Have some ideas, hoping they'll gel soon.

Harriet that quilt sounds awesome glad the family appreciates it!

It's cold here again this week so I'm back to more knitting.
