So true Indiana.
I finished my dmom and aunts/uncles project, I made a family tree for them for their grandchildren and great grandchildren my aunt that is 74 is the youngest person I know so it is hard to think she just became a great grandmother.

my dads gift I just started and hoping to get done.
We go downtown the day after Christmas so hoping to get name picks done.
I finished wrapping dkids presents.

dkids need to buy for each other but that can be relaxing
and same for dkids to get dh something.

I am suprising dkids with lights this coming week. I won't tell them I am doing them, just do it and turn it on as a suprise.

take care indiana and have a great thanksgiving!
it is always a joy to be here with you!

Tree lights are all on and everything to do with lights is put away (what a concept).

One section of lights, not at the beginning or end of a strand, was blinking and none of the other lights do. Unnerving. :| So I considered this problem myself (normally I would holler for a MAN for some reason). I figured out that the first bulb from the outlet-direction that was blinking was different looking - two-toned. I took it out and everything beyond it went dark. I replaced it, even though the ONLY bulb not two-toned that I had in my replacements baggie was blue (how did we get one blue bulb?). And voila! Tree's all lit up and all parts of it are staying STILL. 8-)

Dd10 will have a wonderful time decorating with all the ornaments this evening. I have assured dd28 that no breakable ornament will be on the tree, so she can relax about her 2-year-old. Again, how I appreciate textile ornaments of all kinds, child-friendly. I don't even have ours down from the shelf yet, but can see so many in my mind's eye. Ds says he doesn't want me to give him any of his homemade ornaments this year. I guess it's just not time yet for him to "nest".
If you don't believe in miracles, you're not being realistic.
