Take a walk to figure out your creative projects!
Last month, Stanford Graduate School published the results of their recent creativity study, and the news is good. It turns out simple walking (either outdoors or just pacing up and down wondering about your project) helped the participants come up with creative solutions at a much higher rate than while sitting. Cool! Next time you are stuck for a color, a method, a stitch change, or any other puzzle relating to the art of your choice, pace up and down a while or go out to walk! Hmmm... ... better take a note pad in case you come up with lots of ideas!
