My holiday recap.

Did minamal holiday decorating here sure made it easier to clean up after wards! I will keep that in mind for next year. Christmas was quiet snow & ice kept us home. same fir New Yrs. Eve.

Crowd fav. was soup in a bag from a few years back folks are still talking about that so may need to revive a version of that. Got inspired made up a batch of unlined bags for that. I will get packs of fine line sharpie markers to go in bags for next year. They are a fav. Of mine and work realky well.

So cold I was not prepped for it needed more hats. Something to keep in mind for this yr. make hats! New years day went out w fam to celebrate 2 bdays this week a bit early worked great. I did turkey for New Years weekend froze some having it the first week of the new yr. Awesome idea!

Feed store gave use free calanders one stick on works great fir my pkanner the other has moon phases on.

Cinnamon rolls in a can in a Christmas tree shape and round for wreath shape worked!

4th of july is soon and I haven't gotten the decorations up yet.

Christmas: as christmas cards are hard for me at the holiday time I have started working over my holiday card address list.
Money thoughts are in place - except for the actual money.
I will check to see if I can get gift cards from victoria secret early for dd's and if how long they are good for.
I am keeping my ears and eyes open

I bought a top in orange that will be good for Halloween. Just solid, but nice to have something to wear that will echo what others are doing. I just barely celebrate, but in case someone dropped by in costume I could feel a part of it, take a photo with a dressed-up grandchild, that sort of thing. I think it will be fine through Sept for general autumn wear that won't seem just for the holiday.

I need to remind myself, at about the end of September, to change over to the orange-sashed quilt for a month. Not ds' favorite, lol! I may listen to see whether it is he or his big sister who complains about it the most, and see to it that that child inherits it!!! :)
