Got a 5 x 7 inch binder for holiday control journal today, got some dividers in it. I put a recipe in it turkey day menu. Some other notes from buju and ideas plus Holiday missions. I put a card in the front for a festive front on it.

I was thinking about this. Do you remember P & P having a card things to take go the dump code for gift list. I think CEO coded frozen goodies labeled liver & onions to prevent theives getting into them.

I found quotes for writing letters thought of this thread and holiday cards and letters some of you do. I got the Nov. Bday card & letter wrote and in the mail. Hopefully you have notes to use from this year to make your writing task easier. One of the things I loved about P & P was the humor they wrote with from personal stories. I also admired CEO for doing the Houseworks book.

Photos need to be taken.

yay on photos on list to do and on making your delicious pie

I like many different sources for inspiration regarding house work
I loved pam and peggy's humour and that they didn't want to be perfect but just family supportive. I loved their idea of Focus and the card file works for ADHD mind.
CEO I like that she focuses the holidays but sometimes her work in each area before Christmas is too overwhelming for me. I take what I can use and make it smaller. I do believe that P & P saying that Christmas is not the time to tear apart the house for heavy cleaning is true. (Dailies and weeklies and focus is a good thing but not to be carried away especially with real life). Her Christmas is so helpful and her ideas for jobs is extremely useful. I always liked her.

Flylady - I like that she has changed from doing so many emails and jobs to keeping it simple - It was really too much plus I always feel like I am being sold something. I do like that her focuses have been smaller and doable. I do think her baby steps is important and her clean sink is important.
again that all goes back to Pam and Peggy - do dishes, dinner and duds while your are in hot water.

I think having this site and the cards has helped me the most. I never feel alone when I fall of the proverbial house hold mess cliff and I don't see myself as a failure (especially since I am surrounded by extreme Born organized individuals who believe in just doing it or getting rid of everything. I am also surrounded by amazing goal driven successful people who I admire but wonder how they do it all - they just do :D )
