Each day is begun with a plan, and I try to stick to it to earn a little time at the end to sew.
- from "Time and Talent" by Nancy Breland

Welcome! Though we who post here would NEVER let our creative fun take us off-track of our homemaking plans (no, no we would never do that, right? Almost never. Very seldom. Hardly at all. :) ), our hope is that through sticking to those plans we will gain free time that can be given to the fun of creativity. Please join us and chat about your art, craft and needlework!

It's the first of the year, time again to look at the OVERVIEW of our creative lives and plans. What's the outlook for you?

We all deserve pats on the back for any goals met, compliments received, or art-messiness cleaned up. So please let friends in our thread know about the good things that came out of your 2019 creativity.

It's time to look ahead to 2020 and decide what we'll continue, what we'll change, how we need to organize or schedule.

I am trying to put away Christmas decor items as I take them down instead of letting them clog up my sewing station.
Like I have in past years.

Finished a knit dish cloth.

I have painted on two small projects. Glad I have cleared space to do this.

Painted another bit on the project I started yesterday, did the top of a desk today.
Working on another dish cloth, it is varagated and interesting to see how it is knitting up two petals of each color
for a striped effect.

I made progress on a knit dishcloth it is done now, I am very pleased with the colors of this one butter than the last one.
I got a child's doll chair or plant holder that needed paint got it painted very pleased with the results,
still trying to get the last color decision made also a wooden cross that needed some sanding, pleased with how this is turning out,
both were found thrifting.

I've been mostly the helper as dd has been baking art class creations. Small 1- to 2-inch face sculptures she's carved of various clays (?), that resemble either garden sculpture faces or shrunken heads, Lol. Some are faces in flower centers like sunflowers. Some seem to be grimacing.

I made a poster for our bulletin board at the church of a baby-bottle coin-collecting project to benefit a crisis pregnancy center. Cute squatty bottles images.

Nancy
, that doll's chair sounds like a real find. You don't usually see those.
