Glad to know that she understood Harriet.

I took the weekend off of yarn crafting to rest my shoulder.
Mon. did time ten min. of crochet work today, had the timer on for some thing else but thought I
could do just a bit and test out my shoulder and that was good so yea for that.

Finished knitting a prayer shawl in random stripes.
Now I am working in the ends.
Then deciding on the edging.

Still working on the hot pods for the next set of projects.

Glad to hear your shoulder is not in so much pain.

I'm also doing some position changes and rests, to make sure I stay limber and without aches from too much in one position. Trying to work at desk height, then work at counter height, then sew at sewing machine, then press at ironing board, etc. Not spending too much time bent over, even though I do need some, is a lot of help. I tend to get really close to my work, probably because of eyesight, so it's easy to bend too much.

Today I'm cutting eight at a time, then sewing eight at a time into a "kite" assembly lined, then pressing those and stacking. Right now, I wouldn't brag too much about this room in Decluttered Home, lol. There are stacks everywhere but I'm getting them sewn together!

One of these fabrics has a lot of typewritten words on it, obviously French. I could guess at some. I googled the words and translation, and these are images of 1917 posters asking for the purchase of bonds for the war effort in France in WWI. Words like "valeur" and "modes de liberation", "defense Nationale". Glad I looked it up, because I think that's very wholesome - I've been working with the fabric but had no idea. The name of the fabric is just "Scraped Layers", so that didn't tell me anything.
