Yeah! thanks Nancy!

November for me is Christmas shopping, the kids know they need to have their list in before thanksgiving.
Christmas cards. I will buy them, and do 3 a day.
exercise daily and stretch is healthy for the holidays

things on my list: outfits for all with a back up outfit in case of last minute spills.
camera empty of digital pictures, make sure I know where the charger is.
I have my list made including tips for people who help us out.
it is always a joy to be here with you!

You are welcome!

Got out my H.G.P. cards and
have been working on a few things
like baking brownies to go in the freezer this week.
We've scaled back the amount of decor items
we put up this year so that helps.

I've tried out snack mix both salty and sweet ones
have them for after school snacks
and will try to get some in bags for the holidays
as they are such a hit around here.

Thanks blessed Way to go on your progress!

I've gotten the china hutch cleared and cleaned serving dishes up from
the basement glad to have this done made me feel like I'd made big progress.

My Christmas gift # seems frivolous so I'm writing it out to see it and believe it -

dfirstils - 5 children who are my great-nieces and great-nephews through my late dh
2 exchange gifts

dsecondils - HRH's mother. HRH's father. His brother, his sister. 2 nieces and 1 nephew.

me - 1 mom, 1 dad :)

us - 4 children, one of whom is quite hopeful ;)
3 grandchildren
1 dh :)

assorted -
1 SS teacher
3 children who always give to dd11
1 friend of HRH who gives a huge turkey each Christmas day

Equals 29 :o and of course dd11 gets more than just one package.

Another factor is that sometimes we find a perfect gift for a person but we wanted just to give a couple-gift (like for HRH's mom and step-dad). So that can escalate the wish-we-could factor.

I have really researched Coleman Lanterns as gifts - have been looking at them for days online because HRH and I had talked about their universal practicality as a gift. Just bought 8 Coleman Micropacker (13-inches tall) Lanterns with batteries included ($19) online, got free shipping and guarantee they will arrive before the 16th. This takes care of adult gifts except our children and my mother. So this is not a frivolous purchase, but pretty well thought-out, yet hopefully will simplify my own gift-giving during a Christmas especially short on time.

This week I'm going to try to get the summer fall wreath on the front of the house down
and the snowman tree wreath I painted up.
