the week of January 27th.

Monday be up at 4:45 am and head over to hospital for surgery on d aunt. d brother and her d son will drive her to the hospital (be there at 6 am for check in). and I will meet them there. d brother said I didn't need to stay all day. it's a 7 hour surgery and that he and her son will stay.

Tuesday through the next couple weeks - drive daily to the hospital and then rehab place.
one hour drive there, one hour stay there and one hour come back.

Wednesday: take dh to his dr. appointment -1/2 hour away,

Thursday: have construction company come over to get an estimate of what will happen - sign contract.

Friday: stop by library and return book and do bills there and checking account.

saturday:

Sunday:

break home blessing over the week
I need to hire the cleaning company so that I can start painting etc.
laundry is all caught up
gym has to be daily especially while I am caring for d aunt.

I am trying to get back to my basic weekly plan and figure out how to add other rooms, the outside as it warms, learning. blocking out a certain time doesn't work but doing 1 hour of this and 1 hour of that (things that must be done) seems to work better. I find it shocking on how much time certain things take up.

1 hour animal care... it is actually 1 hour right now in the am. includes feeding, picking up after animals for winter, kitten pads, change water, etc.
1 hour - gym (going there and back and then the work)
1 hour outdoors while weather is over 36 degrees. any garden work
morning routine
noon feed animals
dinner/evening routine (I dislike this routine bc I am tired)
aunt somewhere during week - normally a 4 hour + - driving there an hour, driving back an hour, and then visit
I want to get weight watchers in there somewhere 1 - 1/2 hour - going there and back and meeting.

Normally:

Thursday is normally errand day but I have to do bills. I will go to tar jay - I don't like going to tar jay or shopping

Friday car and purse day - this week - if warm enough - get car washed and vacuumed. visit aunt

Saturday: anti procrastination day and fix it day

Sunday: me day - crafts - learning - planning day

Monday 2 - 4 hours housework, white laundry, sheets,

Tuesday: donation day, declutter day

Wednesday: normally bill day

Good for you, blessed! I really admire the way you are so caring for your aunt.
You always seem to get a lot accomplished, too. Are you saying you can't just block out certain hours, like 1-2 pm -- cleaning, 2-3 pm -- gardening?
I know what you mean! I can't even block out normal DAYS for anything specific. Some people would say we allow ds/ddil to take advantage of us by being "on call" anytime, but I guess these dgrands ARE our #1 priority at this stage in life, and they are our #1 joy. SOMETIMES, they are just a l m o s t more than we can handle but for the great majority of the time, we are happy to have them whenever ds/ddil need some extra hands.

So my "IDEAL" BWP is still what it has always been, but it just has to be flexible. OTOH, I need to learn to DO more when the dgrands are here, and let them "help" me with the plan, rather than letting them interrupt the plan. Mainly though, I need to make MYSELF work the plan, LOL!!!

Monday -- laundry, errands
Tuesday -- WHB
Wednesday -- Zone
Thursday -- Catch-up, prep for weekend
Friday -- Family/Free
Saturday -- Family/Free
Sunday -- Worship, groceries, trash/misc
Tomorrow is another day.

that's a great BWP d lucy

i understand about having others help instead of doing it all urself when ur gr kids are there! i think we were taught that that it was our job - having kids help is a wonderful gift!

1 hour animal care including changing up bedding, bath for kitten and dog, poop pick up etc. :D no poop pick up. oh well
1 hour garden work even though it is cold and rainy
1 hour movement -gym in total :(
1 hour paperwork

1 hour wallpaper removal
put away
first floor sweep and rinse
work on grow light thing and indoor plants

read or puzzle.
