It's monday!!! I love Monday!
dishes are washing themselves
sink is clean
counters clean
swept the family room and kitchen
changed the kittens pads
let d old dog out 4 times this morning so far.
some put away
worked outside until 4:30 I didn't get a lot done but the landscaper put wood chips down - yay
they also moved all the bags into the back by the veg/flower garden - over 40 bags that I didn't have to move!!! yay - it was such a generous gesture.
I gave them something even though they didn't ask and didn't want.
I planted potatoes and peas and lettuce (I know we may have frost again but I have something to cover it. it's actually past the time for most plantings of lettuce here. but we had 6 " of snow last week
I saw a dragon fly - It won't survive but It was so cool to see it.
I did some roto - tilling and some weeding.
fed the animals
having left overs
thinned out cucumbers (inside ones)
I think if it is not raining or freezing I will put my spring onion seedings outside for an hour

tuesday was a wash as I had a headache and slept most of the day - i didn't do the bathrooms - usual tuesday fair
wednesday: I worked outside most of the day, made tortilla soup and a grapefruit/strawberry/avocado/basil/cilantro with lime dressing - salad.
I would rather work outside or be outside on the water than anything else. :D it was 39 in the morning but I still worked outside. finished with the soil in flower bed.

darkish day outside - they say we will have rain
alrighty time for a shower - done
and start the day late

went outside and worked in garage all day
we put a sign on our basketball net and have 2 people who want it.
we will know by tomorrow

I ordered food in - what a waste

grey day outside
we probably will have rain

time to work even though I am late starting
10:00 am

struggling with focus.
I think I will head outside :D it's not raining yet
ended up doing nothing. I had a horrible case of I don't want to do work in the house. house work was so boring to me yesterday and that little brat in me took over.

I can't seem to get things done. my dear mind is all over the place and it is a beautiful day outside.
I didn't get up until 9:00 am
and it is already 11:18 am shocker

telling myself to feel good about myself and just get to work

i have to admit that even though im busy - i dont feel like im making headway - which i see as a failure - i do see a correlation to how d mom taks to dd younger or older - "you didn't get" that "done". " i do great at ..." and the messages i tell myself. to have that confidence she has - i dont know she has that!

i can't seem to get that failure message out of my head when i'm looking at my home etc and I am behind. I have always been slower than d mom - i think so so highly of others and want them to b kind to themselves. i need to shut out the negative. it's temporary - I have to be less hard on myself.

Well it's a new afternoon -
starting again

This could be me too except it's in low fifties and very windy out.

"my dear mind" - love that phrase. i resemble most remarks here, including that my mind, however scattered, is dear. Yes, I see that there must be so many ways I could be using my time for lots of progress. For some reason, it doesn't seem to be the time for great strides. My dear mind hears a different drummer.
