Blessed, what is the difference between ZONE and PROJECT?

BWP for me...

Monday --
possibly keep dgd for a few hours EARLY morning
go to drug store
put dmom's meds in dispensers
take meds to dmom
laundry

Tuesday --
will keep dgd for a few hours afternoon, pick up dgs at school
vacuum

Wednesday --
church
probably will be keeping dgrands while ds teaches lessons

Thursday --
iron?

Friday --
allergy shots (45 min drive each way, this is something I will likely have to do approx every 10 weeks or so since doctor changed HIS routine)

ZONE -- outdoor/storage/closets/car (kinda a catch-all zone for me)
I am soooo far behind on Round One of zones that I am just admitting defeat, and trying to jump back in where I "should" be, regardless of where I really am. I may make a note of what I actually DID during Round One, however, and try to hit the OTHER areas in Round Two, before the ones actually on the schedule. I always do well w/the master bedroom and bath, and then sorta fizzle out when faced with the other rooms.
Tomorrow is another day.

A project for me: repair - or something separate from the norm.

for this month - My living room/front room is being redone - I am taking wallpaper off 15 minutes a day and that's all because life is busy (lol and I am slow) - I do a little something each day in that room except for Sunday and sometimes Saturday.

If we did it all at once we would crash and burn.

re: zones - you are not behind at all! I used to think I had to do everything in the zone week. Not any more - sometimes I have more energy and time and I can do more but sometimes I can't. An example: last week was the kitchen zone and all I could do is wash out the utensil drawer, take a swiffer fluffy thing and wet it and surface wiped the fronts of the cabinets (10 minutes at the tops because I wiped the outside). Nothing more. Yes I would have loved (loved) if a team of workers, fairies or what ever, would have come in and do all of the zone!

I think, for me, I realize I am being a disorganized perfectionist, ( because I think I have to do it all or nothing). I have to snap back to reality that one thing is better than nothing. It is not a failure by any means. I do the same - I let it go! Lately I have been singing the song Let it Go when I see something I can't get to - thank goodness my dear family hasn't sent me to the "home" yet! :D

D lucy - You are always so busy and helping others as well! Congratulations on what you did! I have to admit the bedrooms are my worst areas - I find them so boring and nothing seems to get done each zone. You can come to my house when that zone comes up and I will come to your house when you have a zone that you don't like. I think you are a great person d lucy. I so enjoy your company here and all over the board!!!

I no longer go over 15 minutes in an area - because I am lazy 8-)
