I'm putting this recipe here for safe keeping.
Egg custard
3 eggs
1 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla
dash of nut meg.

Whiz in blender & bake until center is set. I cooked mine in crock pot. Yummy for breakfast.

I finally got that to post on my blog and shared it with a friend that asked for it. I actually doubled that recipe except for the vanilla and nutmeg for the bigger crock pot this go round. With plenty of eggs it was a great use of them. I'm going to try it with Splenda next time but I"m out of Splenda at the moment.

we are going to a party very far away today. I have been driving like crazy just sitting all the time - lol I think its time to stop sitting so much!

first: dailies
dishes were left last night on the counter so those go first.

I'm going to try Nancy's egg custard tomorrow! I have a ready-made pie crust I will dump it into to bake. I love egg custard pie, but have never made it myself.

Sunday party was so fun:

Planning day big time: Money, menu, house, etc. also send b day card. (2 one uncle in law and 1 d sil)

Monday: dr. appointment 9 am laundry whites, dog's room, get boxes for dd olders stuff, animal care... brush dogs call on act, change cat litter

I ran out of time yesterday for most of my sunday chores.

I need to get my round robins done - 6:46 am woke at 6:00 or a little before.
I have an hour and 1/2 before I have to leave. so timer is in hand!
8:07 counters cleaned, breakfast put out, tables cleaned, animal bowls clean, garbage put outside, tossed fridge items,
fed animals
time to get dressed and out the door... then stop at car cleaning place to vacuum out my car
went to d mil's lots of fun
went to store...
made dinner for d kiddo's for tonight

I've done yd. work while it's cool out today got stung doing it. Glad I was nearly done when that happened.
Dinner ~ I have a plan.
Duds are current new to me washer has been installed yea we did the yesterday w/dson's help.
Dishes did those last night.
Journal & qt done.

okay my day is mapped out.

laundry wash and put away day 1 load washing and 1 load drying. dh is trying to take over my day at home - more an expectation that we go to lunch and run errands he wants to do but I said no.. smiling that this is my first day home where I didn't have to drive any where until tonight so I will go to lunch but then stay home and work.

clean the cat litter day




dinner: figure it out -- thinking fish in paper, risotto, and a nice salad

I did not get the egg custard made dgds will be here so we will make that up for one of the activities as they like to use eggs in stuff after gathering them.
