glad you had a nice day on Saturday! Nancy.

I have lots of homework, I wrote the teacher regarding being on hold for the French class so I will see.
I have to tell dh that I have to transfer money for dd's care. that will be hard.

going to pull daily cards and start getting focused.

Hello dharriet and dear nancy!

listening to garrison keillor as i do my work. still feeling not myself.
dishes emptied/ more laundry done
more letters done.
now for homework for tomorrow. today is supposed to be bathroom day but will ask family for help for bathrooms. if we at least spiff them together it won't be great but liveable.
brother is coming by soon

Helped dd11 redo her cardfile. We printed onto regular paper and then glued to cards, which is not the best way because the cards then need to be pressed under a heavy book so they wont curl. But it worked for her. The new cards help to keep her on track, but she is still a very scattered little girl.

She only has a few "weeklies" and puts them all under Saturday. It seems to me she could start having 7 weeklies, one for each evening, but I don't want to upset the homework applecart. Basically, through the weekdays, she keeps the front bathroom and her own bedroom clean, and picks up anything of her own through the house. When she is 12, we've already discussed, she will start doing her own laundry like her older brother and sister did.
If you don't believe in miracles, you're not being realistic.

Sounds like a great plan Harriet!
Way to go doing that.
I remember when our kids were small
they had a card file of their own too.

this week has been filled with wonderful experiences and heart wrenching downs and the ups again. So I haven't gotten anything done. Donation truck is coming feb. 18th and normally I drop off but I can see life is a little busy.

I went to a preschool yesterday and it was great. I went thursday to a learning conference fantastic!
I made a little friend at the preschool who kept saying...I love my popcorn... he had 6 dixie cups full of popcorn.

today: make a decent dinner
do weeklies
do homework

check in feeling scattered about what homework to do... so I am going to toth to help me focus.
2:44 1 hour homework done 15 minutes of research done :D
did 20 minutes of moving around.. I had to laugh as I thought it would take forever... what I think sometimes makes me laugh. I emptied dishes, filled with what I had left(turned it on), did a put away and recycling. amazing.
now for another hour of homework.
6:03 I can't believe it already.. dinner is cooking meatloaf
did more homework and I have so much more to do
so waving hello

Thanks I've been working on the laundry
last load is in the dryer now.

H. did the dishes up the other day when
he was better.
I spiffed up the counters.

So we are not too far behind.
