Sister time is so important, blessedw2 - ikwym. I love spending time with my sisters and my dds love to spend time together. Sometimes I just step back and let them be. Actually, my own dmom has trouble with that. I make an effort to be sensitive to their needs.

I know I have heard too that some moms get hurt when their daughters spend time together with out them. For me I never had a sister and I love that they laugh together etc... I hope they always have that.

I haven't been well lately, and not moving so I think that makes it worse. I slept until 11:30 mmm
it is now 12:18 and I think I will take a gentle walk on the tread mill and then make dinner for tonight.
clean up what I started and pull card file out for dailies and some weeklies.

fleshnocha dough resting, meat put together, and now to pick up the dd14
then put the fleshnocha together and cook,
clean up after myself using my card file in the kitchen

call tae kwon do
remember dentist tomorrow and pay for school

((blessed)), feel better.

Just a few days ago, Dec. 30, CEO posted a new one of her "Cardfile Tours" on shesorganized.com.

When you click on the tour, it is actually the woman's June, 2009 blog about her cardfile, so I guess CEO didn't know about it until recently, either.

The one different idea you get from her photos, IMHO, was using the 1" x 2 5/8" size Avery-type mailing labels as the only thing she prints, rather than printing cards. So I'm assuming she would type 30 tasks into the software layout from Avery, print just one thing, and have 30 stickers with tasks on them to stick onto 3x5 cards. Smart if you are doing over your card system, but not as helpful to those of us who are happy with ours and only need to change a few cards at a time. I think I may have heard this idea before, but interesting to hear from someone who used it.

Interestingly, she says she likes lists, but would get so caught up in them that she would never get down to the business of actually DOING chores. And eventually she noticed this about lists: " I get overwhelmed by seeing all the stuff I have to do and I pretty much just give up, so seeing one small task at a time really helps."

Amen - that's what I preach, for sure!

Thanks so much for sharing those sites. I loved them!!! I agree having too much in front is overwhelming. I am just doing a little of my card file until my health gives back to me my energy.
Thats why I am staying here instead of sharing on the pwyc as I can only do so much physically.

so cards pulled:
empty the dw :D
fill with misc.
counters
stove

lunch was soup I made yesterday with left over meat and broth. very good.
dining room: much put away done. took lights and most of christmas out of there.

Need to: homework
take holders off window from christmas lights.
focus this week finish what you start: and put away

finish what you start focus for 2010.

6:27 pm did some homework and need to type it out. I am so very tired but pushing myself to 10:00 pm.
teeth work hurts right now and its okay. so next meds. folding laundry

I put away the Christmas stuff yesterday.
So glad it fit in the clear tote I'd set aside out for it!
Love being able to see what's in these.
Did a good p.m. routine last night too.
