Feb. Cards. 2010

Postby Nancy » Sun Jan 31, 2010 1:32 pm

What are your cards for this month?
I used to plan a red theme dinner for the kids when they were home
it was fun we had beets ham red jello and other fun stuff.
I had fun making a valentine box for a project in grade school one year.
What are your favorite valentines memories care to share?

Thanks for starting the thread Nancy.
Nancy I'll try not to think of St Valentines. Fortunately its not such a big deal here.

I've decided on some goals for Feb (last night) and thought I'd put them in mini cardfile box - trying to do something w/o being overwhelmed. I don't think dailies will get on there. Maybe - I'll see how it goes.

I did get 7hrs sleep last night. An improvement - but still feel very sleep deprived after a week of not sleeping well enough. I 'm going to start the mth with my devotion books in bed.

▣ fed cat, washed his dishes
▣ Healthy breakfast & meds

▣ ▣ ▣ ▣
Just begin.
Living this day, today
Take a reality check; Remember to breathe; Do what I am able to do.
Look for the good in all.

waving hello

12:18 took me all morning to clean out files, and things brought in from car.separated notes, and now ready to read and take notes
5:25 took nap, needed it. (feeling a little guilty about that though)
the rest of the evening is planned for homework

“Challenges add riches to the journey of life.”

There’s not a single woman in the world that hasn’t had to struggle with
something or overcome difficulties. At some point we all face challenges and
even discouragement. Recognize that obstacles are a wonderful part of life’s
journey. Remember, with every challenge passed, you’re a little stronger,
a little wiser and a whole lot more experienced.

A friend posted this on her facebook page today I liked it so well that I copied it to share!

Nancy I loved the challenges of life... I sent it to my dd20.

I have been really busy with school, and dd's. so today, God willing will be just an at home homework day. dd20 called last night and a friend was killed driving home (country roads with this snow can be bad), he hit ice.

waving at you and lynn and our dharriet

wow time is moving fast
breakfast done :D
studying for test tomorrow :D
took care of phone calls :D
tonight thank you notes
today: laundry needs doing
 haven't cleaned bathrooms in 3 weeks. yuck. so try to at least do one a day
exercise
it is always a joy to be here with you!
