June Cards

Postby Nancy » Sun May 30, 2010 12:49 pm

June Planning & Prep.

I'm not sure what day yet but this next week we are going to have a BBQ for the grands after school as they will not be coming over after school for the weekly visits this summer for "cousin time" so we thought it would be fun for the after school snack. I need a few things for this and it's on sale this weekend so will be picking up more buns and stuff for smores for them to roast.

Father's day is later on in the month too.

No mowing here today it's pouring down rain.
So inside stuff it is.

Got quite a bit done yesterday when I journaled about it
I was surprised at how much we had actually gotten done.
I did not feel productive until I saw in writing what we had accomplished!
Great start for the day already.

Today I am obeying my "trash day" card! Gathering from all over the house with the goal of filling the cans - that will be a help this weekend when houseguests arrive.

I am pleased that the sticker book I ordered has arrived. Lots of household and activities images so I know some will end up in a lower corner of some of my cards. For years I have smiled when I turned my "drink water!" card to see my spouting whale, and a funny little truck on my "trash day" card, that sort of thing. There's a basket of clothes sticker I'll use for my "mending" card.

Morning blessed, Nancy & Harriet

Harriet - I have ongoing sticker card/charts I use each night to record reaching goals of "doing" if I meet the criterion. I have a large collection of stickers I rotate thru each day. Try to enjoy the increasing number and colour/variety of stickers, be reminded of the cards  passed over each day. After they are full both sides - 175 or more I decide if I still need the reminder card and make a new one. Part of my bbr. Slowly slowly.
Enjoy your stickers. I know you will.

Wed
pets
water measured - routinely measure 3L - drinking 2.5 + lately seems good for me. No card for that but its on my summary checklist page for the month. Less unballanced in the mornings.
Tmeds
Buckwheat cereal cooking now its colder
d2s & bed made by 10. (lol last night sleep was difficult and I slep til 9+ish.)
i/c ph call - didn't want financial advice or give personal details to stranger ringing wanting to know if I qualified. I refuse to tell strangers I'm a pensioner living alone so just say I don't talk to those cold calling...
ring chiro - see if he can fit me in. - do this now    3pm
bfst
cuop
sudoku
lunch
Toilet
chiro  3pm
pets
dinner

Just begin.
