hoping checks come in from bank as I have to pay bills and I ordered them 2 weeks ago
wanting to eat lots of carbs but won't. it's been 3 weeks of limiting my amount to healthy levels and its that time where my body is trying to push me back to bad habits that will hurt me if I let myself go back.

dishes emptied, refilled and washing again, then emptied by dd14 and I and after dinner washing again :D
straightened front room wiped table
dh filled bird feeder :D
nurse came by and it was good
dh is very tired and weak
now to stay focused:
fill laundry machine wash dd14 did a load
dry laundry :D
put away laundry :D
emptied car :D
vacuumed car and washed it :D
still need to get rid of recycling

Hope you don't mind if I join you. I need some accountability with cards.

Today's card completed -
** check Special day cards
** Shampoo
** Fingernail care
** Weigh & record
** Mow yard

Today's cards due -
** cut DH hair

Today was payroll day so hours at home were limited. Two hours mowing took up most of the time.

I just want to say "hey" and sorry to have missed several posts here about how Nancy and blessed and blessed's dh are feeling. Glad OKay popped in as she is a cardfile role model to me also. Lynlee, you are a role model, too - oh, yes you are I hear you denying it! :)

I won't try to write out cards here today, but just say I am trying to take one step at a time. I was dismayed that the "one time" cards were getting out of hand - you know, the varied things that are not repeatable or routine. So HRH took some onto his "honeydo list" to help me catch up (he doesn't mind lists and writes his name at top so I won't internalize it).

First one was he fixed the old timey toy wagon I use to store/display quilts, which is good because it is at the front door. Besides mending, these are things like graduation cards/gifts (and graduation was end of May!), medical forms (yuck), car maintenance.
