July Cards

Postby Nancy » Tue Jun 29, 2010 10:46 am

July is here now.
It's time to take a peek at the July cards and see what we have look forward to
and plan for. Got any birthday's, anniversaries, 4th of July gatherings, camping and / or other outings; and special days?

Our wedding ann. is in July and we need to make a few plans.
Have a 50th wedding ann. of friends to attend.
The invite said "no gifts" but omitted the time so I had to inquire to verify that.
I like that no gifts = no clutter!

Our 37th wedding ann. is tomorrow.
So we've planned to go out to celebrate it
but may wait until the weekend.
Nothing big just go to the cheap movie place
hoping to see "Robinhood" there as they have movies later than the newly released ones.
Going to go back to the buffet as I know h. really enjoys that and now I know what foods
to avoid finally! Seems like it took me forever to figure out how to do that when
eating somewhere besides home.

H. wanted to go camping but the camp grounds are all full with 4th of July coming up
fast and furiously.

I can't believe summer is already half over!

Yesterday I did some yard work mowed
pruned back roses and apples.
Got our laundry current.
Granny duty was fun for us watching the grand kids
use beach towels and blanket for tents in the back yard!
Finished knitting up a doll blanket.

Today it's the day to wash sheets.
And is dgson's last day of summer school for this session.

Blessed glad to read the inspection went well.

Worked on the kitchen on and off yesterday afternoon it's
nearly presentable now.

Today what to do?
Hum... thinking as I sip cocoa trying to decide.
Went to bed after getting up early to the fire works noise last night.
