July Cards 2011

Postby Nancy » Tue Jun 28, 2011 10:20 am

What prep. do you need to do for July?
I need to mix up red, white, and blue, cookie dough.
Need to ask what the rest of the family is doing.
Dgds will be with their mom over the fourth.

Do you have birthday's and or anniversaries to celebrate this month?

Got a goal this month?

Mine is to try to keep up with the eight D's.
Dinner
Duds
Dishes
Declaw the paper tiger
Declutter
Deep Clean
Dare to dump it
Decorate

2. Contact Muttart Conservatory about booking for next summer. DONE!
3. Get laundry folded and put away (DS is taking care of the washing/drying tonight) DONE!
4. Clean bathroom!!! (I've been saying that for days!)
5. Payroll DONE!
6. Redesign Peanut's baby blanket
7. Pack up some of DGS's baby stuff that's still here DONE!
8. Put away extra kitten stuff in foster room DONE!
9. Pay rent/bills
10. Stop at produce store for sorting boxes
11. Cut fabric scraps for patching kittycat pads DONE!

I'll add more to it tomorrow...for now, it's off to bed!

Bsweet Way to go!

I have a plan for dinner!
Sinks are empty my new years goal this year was to work on counters before bed has really made a difference.
While walking with a neighbor she said that she had a "thing" about empty sinks so that's my new goal have empty sinks before going to bed seems to be helping to have one thing to focus on!

I need to pick up toys in the creativity room, focusing on one room this will be it!
 is next fix breakfast,
Then later on bake cookies in star shape for this holiday weekend still have half of the cookie dough left to do up.

Do floors at dd's this a.m. better get a move on.
Errands this weekend some time.

Have made up a 4x6 gridded card for the fridge door for Healthy Habits. I am SO glad I am back to that. It is one of my lifeline cards, but starts over twice a month of course, and sometimes I'd think switching over to other record keeping wouldn't matter, then wouldn't get back to it even by the next time. NOTHING beats a card. I think I may frame it. :D That would be a hoot - thinking that Harriet is going to clear extra fridge-front space! I have a perpetually fluffy fridge front of many textures! LOL

5x5 cards have been too general and ambitious lately. I need to remember to choose 5 do-able items, even if some are PARTS of a plan. The point of a 5x5 is not having to carry over very often, and that's been happening a lot. They need to be positive, finished things by evening, to encourage.

Harriet way to go!
Okay so I saw the stars in the frosting for the stars and stripes fun fetti cake. Got the 800 number to call and give the co. feedback not sure if I'm going to or not at this point.

Well we are back from a busy after noon of errands,
I got an exercise bike at a yard sale for $5.oo and did 3 mi. on it in the living room took me ten min. It's an old clunker of one but some thing I can do as my foot heals up. I'm hoping this is a solution that I need. This was on my wish list! I may be putting do this 2 x a day as a card I"m not sure yet.

My list has made some progress, but there's more things to add to it. I love the concept of a 5X5 card, but with my schedule it wouldn't work well, and I'm not really sure how to tweak it (yet)1. Return kittens to rescue (it's going to be SO quiet around here!!! ) - DONE!
2. Contact Muttart Conservatory about booking for next summer. DONE!
3. Get laundry folded and put away (DS is taking care of the washing/drying tonight) DONE!
4. Clean bathroom!!! (I've been saying that for days!) DONE!
5. Payroll DONE!
6. Redesign Peanut's baby blanket
7. Pack up some of DGS's baby stuff that's still here DONE!
8. Put away extra kitten stuff in foster room DONE!
9. Pay rent/bills DONE!
10. Stop at produce store for sorting boxes
11. Cut fabric scraps for patching kittycat pads DONE!
12. Find animal vaccination records

I think this is sort of my OMM list - little (or big) things that aren't part of the regular schedule, but would get forgotten if I didn't write them down somewhere!

Working on piles of paper.
Duds did that Sat. p.m.
Dinner I have a plan.
Declaw the paper tiger x
Decluttering 15 x 3.

Yesterday was a rest day for me but I'm glad I did the evening routine last night when I got up to a tidy kitchen for the most part what a joy that was/ is!

I am done cleaning, dgkids are here now,
lunch and snack time is done.

Time for me to get back to it!

Dinner ~ I have a plan
Duds ~ > this one needs attn.
Dishes ~ x
Declaw the paper tiger ~> process mail is up
Declutter ~> donations are loaded
Deep Clean ~> this one is up too
Dare to dump it ~> current
Decorate ~> or in our case un-decorate

Feeling great about the progress I've made this year so far.
Yard has been getting attn. that it needs.

Okay going on the list this week is my creativity room and dealing with toys that I've rounded up and are in there these may be going to the play house and to the basement for laundry.
This afternoon will be a great time for that.
