M-m your house smells great blessed wtg on the progress you posted about too!

I got a call this morning dgkids were here for a few min. dd got called to work and sil was at a men's group at church. I'm SO glad I had cookie dough made up ahead.

H. said men's group at our church is not until next week.

That cookie dough I did up yesterday was not nearly as good as the last batch! It needs a bit of work. :?

Made it to the library and requested a movie and books I wanted to use! Yea for libraries and $ saved!!!

Enjoying watching you all work through your cards.
I have a question.
Looking at Harriet's groupings of cards/tasks, I am wondering --
Do you still have separate card for vacuuming whole house?
What do the rest of you do?
It is just hard for me to get out/put away vacuum, so -- although it would be possibly quicker to do one room at a time -- it seems much more TIME EFFICIENT to do the whole house at one time... BUT... that requires more of a time commitment when one starts in... and leads to procrastination... and I just do not feel that I am getting anything done... already! Only 3 weeks into the new year!!!
Tomorrow is another day.

LucyL. mine just says "floors" now. I'm considering tweaking it to "floors upstairs" and "floors downstairs".

A small sample of today's cards.
Snow removal H.'s turn x
Granny duty x
Make bed x
Snow day with it being a holiday MLK no banking, P.O. is not running and schools are closed here! Make snow angels, {not enough snow} hot cocoa, put together puzzles, x play chess, xwatch movies, x start crock pot, see below alt. meal plan; bake cookies x.
Trash day is tomorrow so we need to dump trash that card is up. x
Pay attn. to Morning Daily Card. x
Bake spaghetti squash x

Yeah, the vacuuming is the one less efficient part of room-based cards. It's easy to decide to stop and start dusting exactly along with the cards, since there's nothing cumbersome about dusting!! LOL! I guess the reason I go ahead and mind the cards is that I don't have to think, I know exactly where I'll vacuum today (because sometimes thinking is the hard part, when it is a tough day here). I know exactly where I've been, where I am, where I can stop. Another consideration, blessed, is that the next room may not be picked up well, so you end up either doing a poor job or stopping, and getting more involved in the next room than you really meant to.

So Harriet, is your plan/goal to
spend some time in each room daily... but then
focus on specific room weekly, as our focus plan has scheduled?

Or -- since you're in EVERY room EVERY week, is the focus not as necessary?

I don't know why I'm so engrossed in this... DOING it is the important part. I know if I could make myself follow ANY plan, I'd be sooo much better off. Plan A, Plan B, Plan C... they'd all get the work done, if I'd just manage to DO the work. * sigh *
I don't understand myself.
Tomorrow is another day.
