hello, I think of you dnancy and dharriet and all the dear ladies even when I can't be here.

My house and my dh :D wishes I was lifting my house into sparkledome much more than I do. 8-)
I am at the end of my school year. I have started volunteering work but limited to one day a week. my weight... mmmmmm it came back when I stopped exercising during school. mmmmm
so I need to break things down again by the hour than looking at the bigger picture of the week. that's okay.

wishing you a lovely day.
it is always a joy to be here with you!

Checking in progress this week has not been as good as some weeks I've had granny duty every day mostly in the afternoon.
Yard looks good however.
Store run done yesterday for a few things.

Hi, blessed! What kind of volunteering work are you doing? Weight issues are rascals, for sure. How are your girls?

The second bday party here went well. Note to self - never another cheap plastic bday tablecloth just to match colors or be cute! We do better with nothing; they are a waste of money. Cannot recommend Snow Cream ice cream (Mayfield's brand here) enough for parties. Everyone just loves it and it's a conversation piece - so good with cake, lighter tasting.

By the hour - yes, I seem to do better with that as well.

The success of my attempt to remember extended family bdays with cards in 2012 has been mixed. Some have gotten nice cards, some left out, but I hope people understand.

Nancy, I love the quotes.

I'm behind but glad to have the company here! Thanks for saying that Blessed! With the nice weather and more granny duty it's been a busy week. I have tomatoes to plant maybe dgd can "help" when she comes on Mon. will put a few seeds in the ground as well.

Going to a church we have been checking out that's closer and the new pastor begins today. I've been seeing folks we used to know from there when we are over town it's neat!

I'm not crazy my mother had me tested. Sheldon Cooper / Big Bang Theory
I'm back from my walk. Dishes have been loaded in the sink and rinsed. Pruned the roses by the patio so hubby does not have to fight them to grill. I have a plan for lunch!

Mow x
Get trash ready and out to the curb. x
Unload and reload dish washer x
Plant stuff x
Get A/C up and running for the season [h. did this] grateful he got it to work he had to fiddle with the pump a bit more than in the past. x

Surely God would not have created such a being as man to exist only for a day! No, no man was made for immorality. [immortality] Abraham Lincoln

Obviously spelling is not my strong suit! LOL! Thanks Harriet!

Weekly Cards Done x we had a showing yesterday so made short work of those!
Today desk stuff.
Then possibly some mowing when h. gets back with mower gas.
Pruned a bit more on the roses so he does not have to fight them so much while grilling.
Back is mowed now yea for progress!

Love the BBT quote, and I found one for us all, Nancy!

I'm a mother and I enjoy the job. It's the overtime that gets me down.
- Lynn Johnston, author of "For Better or For Worse" comic strip

I'm well into overtime with ds27, for sure! LOL! Dstepson and dd32 are both fussing at him for leaving a bunch of paint cans and other debris beside the shed in my back yard and not getting them decluttered. I know he'll get to it but he does need to hurry since we can't mow there.

Nancy, I'm pretty sure it's "immortality" in the Lincoln quote! :D But you could get a lot of smiles with the way you typed it!

Are your roses blooming yet? I noticed a distant neighbor has managed to get an impressive rose garden going. Dd was never so impressed with a yard as she was with those blooming roses - she asked me to slow the car down so she could see.

The healthy habit card is being kept up well. Laundry card still my salvation on that score.
I let the Desk Day cards get away from me, though. Hopefully I'm back on track.
Have appreciated having the "Clean vacuum cleaner" card to remind me. I can't tell from the outside when this vacuum dust-thingie is full.

Prayer; I am open and receptive to the power of grace in my life now. I ask to be shown clear examples of how this energy is operating in my life. Cheryl Richardson

This week I was reminded that next month is mom's day.

Some song lyrics I'm thinking on today! by the mama's and papa's
Monday Monday, so good to me,
Monday Monday, it was all I hoped it would be
Oh Monday morning, Monday morning couldn't guarantee
That Monday evening you would still be here with me.

Every other day, every other day,
Every other day of the week is fine, yeah
But whenever Monday comes, but whenever Monday comes
You can find me cryin' all of the time

Monday Monday, ...

s2s x
qt done
journaling x
dump trash* h. did that
make bed x h. did that too

Thanks for the input about the quotes gals!
