Are there any celebrations to plan for?

Flag day June 14th in the U.S.
Yard work gardening / we need to clean maple tree seeds out of the gutters I did it once last year. H. did it in the fall.
I need to work on mine b/c there is not much in mine except a bunch of really great quotes here I"ll share one!
To be refreshed by a morning walk or an evening saunter... to be thrilled by stars at night; to be elated over a bird's nest or a wild flower in spring ~ these are some of the rewards of the simple life. John Burroughs

You take your ride you do a little work, then you take your lunch, painters, and writers retreat attracted by fun sparkling wit: eclectic family furniture: an antique desk, an over stuffed chair with accents of carved wood on the arms. Riding, sketching, writing, living well rounded lives made it fun.

Way to go blessed & thanks for joining me in this thread.
Doing updates scans and getting drivers installed so I can upload photos from my phone has me up way later than my norm today. But glad to be making some progress on stuff I've put off.
We grilled for dinner tonight it was nice glad the rain let up a bit.

Does anyone have any Father's Day presents to buy, or children to be reminded? LOL. Dd has 2 gifts, since we forgot she already had one  - that is so like a sidetrackable mother/daughter team. So I may give HRH one of the gifts. We don't have any graduates among our friends this year.

Good job on flowers, etc., blessed. I am just not accomplishing that anymore.

Thank you for the reminder. I will ask DH if he plans to do anything. Maybe a visit. They are not a "present" family.

Ever since the Romans marched north carrying the Mediterranean's fragrant plants the English have been enchanted with herbs, creating with herbs, creating gardens of truly inventive variety. Emelie Tolley
Yesterday dgd helped plant the veg. seeds some in the garden others by the play house and sunflowers in the front yard for sun flower days in Aug. here. Did that just in time before the rains came later in the day!
Trash day here I rounded it up yesterday & today h. took it to the curb before he left for work.
