Cardfile near and dear to my heart right now. Many thoughts on how to implement it with more efficiency.

Discussion in PWYC points out to me that I have not been admitting to myself some ongoing disappointment in not getting things done well around here. I don't know in advance which areas of my house I'll be able to enter or work on each day, and that really handicaps me. Often it agitates my ddad if I am present in a room within his sight, and he repeats concerns, cycling through them again every time he catches sight of me, so I have to give up and leave the area. When evening rolls around and I can finally have the house to myself, or just me and HRH, my energy level is low. So I need to try to get a handle on this.

Getting yard work done today was encouraging. It was done on a Sunday evening, not my choice of a best time, especially since we were loud, but we had little choice.

School year is almost upon us, Nancy and blessed! There's a possibility the extra emphasis on routine will help with the housework.

it does take away our momentum when others (unintentionally) tell us things about cleaning etc.when you don't know what area you can work on can send the routine into crisis from my experience. It is hard.
my oldest dd tells me that having the card file to clean is a waste of time and doesn't get things done. but for someone like me that needs to have a focus point they work well except on the things not on my cards lol then I get lost. dd says that I should be able to see things and do things. lol she doesn't know how my brain works. 8-)

best wishes dharriet as you try to work out a solution to get your work done.

hi dnancy hi dharriet.

school starts for me today, for ddyounger tomorrow which is making her really depressed as she is not part of the popular group. she made lots of friends on her trip over the summer but no one goes to her school. so I am saying my prayers for her.
routine started.

I went to school and it was packed and couldn't find any parking so frustrating so I missed the first day of class.
I waited and nothing as they cut off most of their parking because of work not finished this summer so I will read what I can and then move forward

lunches packed. dishes washing themselves as is laundry
now to swipe fold more laundry and put it away

my dailies need to be done first
dinner is in the oven

I pruned the roses and grapes by the deck steps.
Also some lilac branches in the back that came through from the neighbors a bit too much.

Holiday reminder card.
http://christmas.organizedhome.com/reality-check/too-early-think-Christmas-start-now

I've been doing a bit ahead can help for holidays.
I did this on the 25th of each month on a green card.
CEO calls it Rudolf club.
I'm putting up some fruit for sweet breads and have collected mixes to make them with. It's good for potlucks and such and if we don't use 'em when I clean out the deep freezer it can be fed to animals!

Crafting:
Also made up a couple of costumes as our church was out in case they are needed this year.
They fit me.

I'm working on puppets have 9 more to go in this batch.
