october 16, 2012 tuesday.

Today is focus day for me: which means kitchen (don't let my excitement overwhelm you).

truth be told: I didn't finish the counters done :D , sink :D floor, and table after cooking - I just have a few dishes as I washed as I cooked washing .
Dd had her french chat group yesterday and she had such a good time but it took from 5:30 to almost 9:15 if you include driving.

So today: move the refrigerator and clean behind it. :D
cleaned under cabinet :D deiced shelf in freezer bc ice blocked opening - over due items - shpild have tossed in feb 2012
cleaned top and outside of fridge - got burnt i grabbed scrapper from wrong end that i had dh heat on stove to melt I've - i didn't look ;) note to self - look :D

a job I don't want to do: clean the stove and oven for the holidays ahead

must: take pumpkins out of car so they don't bake in the warmer weather. took some out

daily cards.not all

I need to find things to listen to during the day as I work it keeps me on task 8:54 pm
10:10 am last of dishes washing themselves
dh is at doctor :D
cleaned back of one counter and backsplash area :D
cleaned window above sink :D
now 1 57 pm
picked up dd and went to eyebrow appt for her, went out to lunch with dh
the soup: leek and potato soup was excellent in my book. (I was going to buy a quiche at sara lee but it closed down).
5:45 pm suddenly feeling fat and tired.
but I want to clean the kitchen table :D , sweep the kitchen floor and vacuum it  counters cleaned again :D stove is soaking under a cloth  .
I emptied my purse on the dining room table yesterday and didn't put it away   7:46 pm done for the evening

October 17, 2012 Wednesday

it was 4:45 when I woke up
that is a shocker - this always happens at this time of the year - I love the cooler mornings

I have a hot spot that I have NOT touched yet have looked at for over 2 weeks. (one chair in the dining room - dh took my clean laundry i had ready to go upstairs and put it on the chair - do you think I would have put it away? NO. Then the cat (old shedding one) laid on it. I look at it every morning knowing I have to take the one shirt to the cleaners again and wash the remaining... the rest of the dining room has been clean and there it is. Sheesh if I would have put it away right away I wouldn't have to deal with it. I think it is beginning to look normal for all of us but each day I pass it I think "I have to take care of that".

12:07 back from picking up dd after tests at school
I took a nap this morning ;) before picking her up.

dh asked me to make a quiche for his dmom tomorrow for Friday.

Remember BELIEVE I CAN DO THE WORK!!!

1. put away from lunch :D dishwasher emptied, few things put in there, cleaned sink, counter cleaned. :D found fresh green beans at the store so bought a bag and cooked it right away - now cooling. :D I want more veggies in our diet. cabbage is cooking now :D
1:32 pm first a break (feel like a "I don't wanna" coming on; but it feels like there is SO much to do and I want my home like my and dh dfamily.)
2. clean up hot spots in dining room I thought it would take forever to do the chair laundry (5 minutes :P  ) the table took longer as it was filled with dh and my stuff (papers) but done, did a magazine and recipe dejunking :D
3. clean hot spot from kitchen :D
4. clean out the hugest hot spot - my car!

ask me how long my vacuum cleaners and broom have been in the kitchen - don't ask as they are still there :o
3:53 pm
also need to plant new basil in pots for front window

October 18, 2012 Thursday again :D
11 am hair dye :D
pick up dd (piano 3:30) pilates 5:00 pm :D (tomorrow meeting at school)

made a huge donation today: :D
cat litter (garbage day tomorrow) dh did :D
pet care which includes wash dog beds weekly, brush animals, check appointments or make appointments, clean cat litter :D

today is getting ready for garbage day

MAJOR HOT SPOT (Truth time: I took 10 bags of laundry including blankets to laundry mat and I am letting them do it ($ :? ) but it was stressing me out that I still have a day filled for doing things for myself and others). I still have sheets to change and wash, one blanket, dogs beds, and 1 basket to wash so you can see I was really over whelmed.

going to laundry mat as I know we can't catch up unless we give our life up to the laundry for the next 2 days...
I now realize:

1. my children have too many cloths, I have to wash on a daily basis using the weekly plan, i.e. monday whites etc.
2 wash sheets and blankets immediately and put away
3. bring hangers down after use
4. set up a nice laundry area (not too many baskets - baskets multiply and only make me want to not put things away or store things in plain sight)
5. when a major project is happening - delegate and expect the help (don't be a victim - "oh no one helps me 8-) " I never got that bad (well not many times in my life :D ) but looked more like this
6. I have too much stuff. I have cloths that are one size down that I haven't been able to fit into for years and it IS depressing to keep it. So I am thinking it's time to live at my size in my closet rather then wishes.

donation time 12:45 (hair is dyed) so I will go through my closet and see what doesn't fit and donate - nice or not
proud moment: dh is donating a bunch of shirts
1:48 pm. it is soon time to pick up dd and take her to piano. (so bring music she said she forgot in her bag) :D
ended up resting all evening. mmmm
it is always a joy to be here with you!
