lent day 4
I realized that I am a impulse person, I can't wait long for things I want. sigh  still trying.
I can't let that bring me down... just keep working forward.
My weight is worse than ever - I gained all my weight back when I stopped exercising a lot

Head up, cheer in heart and move forward to work hard.

Today's card that is up: the bathroom, I think (crossing fingers) today hopefully I will finish the sanding. dd and I might look at paint/wallpaper or ideas for the bathroom. (we can't change the tub or other things)

dailies, money care, exercise are other things
it is always a joy to be here with you!

blessed, if the perfect weight loss plan ever comes up, we in the H and F thread will have been hunting for it! (smile) I am forever reading on this subject and trying to keep my enthusiasm up. Nancy and I are even reading the same book on balanced meals right now, paths having crossed as we try to keep abreast of it all. With everything I learn, I figure a little bit of help comes. Exercise - I keep letting schedules get in the way of my exercise. Here is my lame excuse - can't wear shorts in front of my dad or be caught in odd exercising poses, and that's just the way it is, I canNOT. Our relationship does not allow such informality. So I need someone else available to him in order to slip away and exercise. Then when that person is available, I really need to spend time with them, lol.

I do have an exercise card, but I find that this is one area of life in which the card doesn't help, since so many variables have to be in place to get to follow through. I can't just come across the card and get started.

Tweaking my laundry card with another main load of laundry - need to show a medium-dark load, too, because we go through darks so fast I need to separate the load. For this reason and others, I'm glad I abandoned trying to keep up with washings by day of week and just went over to a rotation on a month's card with notes. So much less stress.

blessed, we are really missing you! Hoping all the projects turned out well.

Nancy, I considered buying some inexpensive t-shirts for the grandboys for St. Patrick's Day. But when I glanced at the calendar I saw it falls on the weekend this year. So the oldest won't even see any of his school friends for the holiday, so I decided against it.

Typing out those thoughts on exercising got me to try harder to "mind" my exercise card and I've been real good about it since. Just 20 mins a day, but consistent.
