June 2013

Postby blessedw2 » Sat Jun 01, 2013 3:03 pm

How lucky we are - Summer is here again - I am not ready for it!

My dear daughter is out of school
I need to work outside
I have a couple birthdays this June
and I have to send out a birthday present

My cards are going to be gardening and giving my children opportunities to earn cash on really hard chores than require physical labor
it is always a joy to be here with you!

It's put away day here as well Blessed. After unloading the stuff in the camper after selling it we had to clean the carport again and stuff piled up inside and it took a while to find homes for stuff after I filled up the trash can. Trash day is in the morning tomorrow.

I'm working on the weekly stuff as well and some laundry too.
Focus journaling done.

Today's card focus is to vacuum the back part of the house. x
And continue with the work I've been doing on our bedroom for my focus room this month. Then I can move on to other areas of the house.

hi dear Nancy!!!

today: is look at see hot spots. I just came home from being at dmil's house. (11:56) I have a heart doctor appointment my first ever... I thought I was too young for that. So I am a little nervous. But it's better to get it checked.

my dining room table still needs work. I haven't done a paperwork day for quite a while and need to do that every 2 weeks at least.

time for work then get ready.

My whole day ended up in driving. that's okay I got into my new doctors office. dd older came in and her and dd younger went to my d mom's art show.
ended up with a headache but got home too late for the show.

Oh, I like seeing how the hours go by for us, blessed. Actually, those are encouraging types of posts. It's like, "look how much can happen".

It is entryway/porch Focus but raining, hmmm...

Bedrooms for declutter, which is ho-hum for my bedroom, which is forever in need! The same old hotspots need the same old work. Better than dd14's, though, because that's just depressing!!! Exam week has sent her room into a downward spiral.

Laundry today is the master linens, but first I put in my black slacks on rinse cycle only, to kick wrinkles out ahead of Friday's possible reunion. Now the linens are rinsing, black slacks drip-drying.

A bit of Desk Day cropped up because a sympathy card was needed, but I got that done so early that HRH was able to take it with him to mail, so that's off my mind.

Looking at the week -
Need to decide if I'm going to that reunion thing. HRH says don't go if it isn't happy for you. (only women of the graduating class are attending this odd-number year, and not even bringing spouses) I've washed my hair this a.m. and have it in a scrunchie. If I plan to go, I need to get a trim tomorrow and color it Friday a.m. A sensible plan which really falls into the calendar well for me, I just hate feeling pressure because of this event. Another thought is ...... do I need to shop, perhaps. The black slacks are ideal, but my nicer tops are not so nicer any more, lol. Maybe there is something out there to instantly make me look slim, youthful, fashionable, confident and successful. That's not too much to ask of one little top, is it?

One thing about it, I'll be able to look nice for church Sunday without much trouble. And hopefully with a Saturday in between, I won't be so "social-ed out" and will be relaxed for church.

Oh, I need to update a photo-book for my purse in case everyone starts showing family pictures. Sigh. Definitely a photo of dd14, since she is the youngest baby born to our graduating women and some are aware of that. I won the "newest newborn" award at a previous reunion.
