Hi to blessed, Nancy, Lynlee and BookSaver and all.

Today I made up the last quarter of the year's 3 laundry cards.

Considering starting a card for declutter. I wanted that before but was stymied when the type I thought I wanted (to keep track of time spent with fill-in circles) didn't turn out to be easy to create, plus kind of boring. May just identify small spaces that need decluttering and check them off as I do them, just handwriting on a card to name them.

Birthdays - prepared for my one bday this month. Can't believe there's only one. Hmmm... ...

blessed mentioned thinking of decor

HRH also has a particular Halloween decor project for the grandsons outside.

Need to hang autumn quilt - don't know which of the two hanging to remove. A lot depends on that - the way the whole LR will look throughout holidays, because if I take down the green antique, it's going into storage for a year beginning now, and will not be part of 2014 season.

Good morning d Harriet... I love that you have an autumn quilt! I also like the idea of the decluttering card - I have been having to dejunk in small quantities because I get overwhelmed and I end up going in so many directions.

today:

functioning Friday.
clean the bathrooms for the weekend
put away
3 season room again
order dryer (I should just open my wallet and say - Take it all... go ahead lol)

8:11 up since 6 .. sat for an hour... mmm

now for laundry luau 10:57 am drove dh to car place to pick up his repaired car... did some laundry (it sounds nicer when I say luau but doing laundry for me is - boring! I have the second load in and have done put away... then frustratingly I found another basket needed for put away.

I ended up sleeping all day yesterday - I need to get that checked

today: woke at 5:30 am
had my coffee
dh brought my laundry back and put it on the dining room table where the cats slept in them. mmmm - I should have put them away right away

now for back to dailies dance
animals are all fed. :D and the sky is beautiful - the trees are still a black outline but the blue is trying to peek out in between as the day begins to start. (glad I was able to see this)
laundry folded from yesterday (and at the bedroom doors for me to put away when dh wakes up) :D
went to laundry mat and washed blankets :D
picked up a few things up for dd younger and mailed her care package :D
got cards :D
went to butcher :D
lunch done

12:19 PM
dh did dishes :D
Next: more laundry to wash
8:12 done for the night!

I was proud that dd younger is learning to stand up for things at school...the school didn't tell them but came in the morning and said they would have to miss class (again) so that the movers could move their things back in the room - or leave their things in the study hall and move their beds only (so that anyone can go through them - from what I learned from college from dd older is that leaving things out (even in an apartment during a party) can mean things get stollen... dd younger told the dept. no that they will not miss class again because their gentlemen can't work past 3 on Fridays - (I have to admit I am surprised by her directness as this child would rather work things out and be pleasant to help all involved... which can lead to be walked over (she no longer trusts the ra head involved to actually help students at risk or dealing with rooms filled with asbestos and smell) - so she said no and now they have time to start moving their things and get their furniture moved on Monday when they are back from class -
