Yesterday was a wash but I must have needed it. 10 degrees here

Happy Monday! Gosh I love mornings - so many possibilities.
I haven't pulled my cards yet but will do that soon

first:
I have been looking at the house and realizing there are certain household chores that need attention before more holiday prep gets underway (i.e. repairing my 2 shades - wash trim on windows and hang up clean curtains)
so I will do that

7:37 am ready for put away so I can think
1:27 pm where did the time go...
I ran a couple errands - got shade over to place that will fix it instead of ordering a new one - cheaper they are going to repair it. yay :D
picked up d mom's christmas present ... finally ready :D
ate lunch at home
mailed dd youngers package :D
Michaels ribbons for stairs and chandelier :D

-now to look at cheap decorations for the christmas village :D ..my kids tend to complain that I get things together too early... but I think all my years as a SHE has taught me that .. to make anything look effortless ...it requires planning and work - they love the results and the joy of it but they are unaware of the planning and prep that comes before the actual Christmas holiday. I no longer like killing myself last minute so that I too can have a joyous Christmas

got a terrible stomach ache

yesterday I had a bad stomach ache; today I was blessed with a cold... without a flu shot... where did the time go.

This morning I woke to the most beautiful sky...dark a bit with deep royal blue and gray skies and the multi colors of gray clouds floated by (the sun was just starting). it was beautiful.

I lost a lot of time yesterday but my sweet dh was very busy.
1 errand: return ribbons to Michaels that won't work for Christmas.
dh: take curtains in to get clean.

today: is laundry day
lunch (I will only have soup) with one of my d sil's

1. make list of things I see that need to be done before guests come so that dh and I could work together... got some things listed ... :D
2. listed my spending the last couple days :D
3. put away in dining room... trying to keep ahead :D
4. put away sheet laundry, :D had to throw out cover for mattress.. it melted together grrrr
5. shower :D
6. had a lovely lovely 3 hour lunch with one of my d sil's :D :D :D
7. returned ribbon I didn't want for Christmas :D
8. stopped at garden shop for bush lights for front and some other things for the birch tree. ;)

My dh is amazing: he returned all the furniture for the kitchen and family furniture and washed the floors in those rooms too.

I did outside stuff this morning. Raked front yard so hens could have fun playing in the leaves I put in the coop and run. Toddler duty this morning.

Feel better blessed.
