Happy Sunday Morning. I have a gathering today.
So I have to leave at noon

We had the most beautiful sunrise this morning.

I am taking today at a slow pace even though I still have so much to do. This week the goal is to do room by room weekly cleaning and some monthlies and decorate.

timer ready but planning on a slow sweet Sunday (thank you d Book)
rinsed inside of stove :D without spray - dh really wanted me to use chemicals but I can't take them and I can't imagine them being that great for the environment
cleaned outside of stove front :D
cleaned microwave :D
tossed old food in fridge :D
cleaned out coffee cup shelf - tossed unnecessary things :D

listening to German traditional Christmas music with the church bells... I am trying to find a good french Christmas album but I haven't found one here in the states - then a little Alsatian musique and Mumford and sons.

I had a lovely lovely day with family and tonight watched the Librarians

what still needs doing:
wash the other 1/2 of the kitchen floor by hand
put a lock on meds that dd's worry the dogs will get to.
make meals for Christmas week.

I Have decided that I need to vacuum and surface rinse floor in kitchen daily until after Christmas to keep dogs at bay
k

it's a rainy and icy day today but I don't mind one bit!
Happy Monday. I looked back over the week from last Monday and I can see I got a lot done on my temporary 3 x 5's.

today is bathroom day and laundry room/dog day.

I took out an apple pie from the freezer that dd older had made - I had it on the counter this morning and not so dear big dogs ate the center of it (leaving it on the counter- how - I don't know.)

7:30 am and ready to start... slowly ;)
well it is already 8:38 am and the only thing I did is go to starbucks and came back.
my computer is running sl o w w w w

some of my decorations are up. and they look lovely
11:05 time to go back to work (also time for dh to go do something else lol)
12:07 pm dh is driving me crazy (love him dearly but he needs to go out of the house for my sake) ... he is not necessarily working but fiddling around here and
there.

dd older cleaned the fridge and went grocery shopping for me
4:42 pm I ran one errand
washed family room floor, cleaned fireplace and door, dusted family room
cleaned out drawers in family room

kitchen looks lovely and festive and temporarily really clean - only thing left is washing the floor well again and then maintenance (dogs spilt their water all over the floor while chasing each other with a ball - the water mixed in with the greenery shedding of the Merry Christmas wreaths I was hanging. I was hanging - all wiped up but the floor needs to dry before I can really wash it well)6:44 family room looks festive and clean

Today's goals - I guess I will call them "hope to" s because yesterday didn't exactly work out like I had planned in the a.m.

I want to work in the bathrooms as yesterday I never got to that card.

cards pulled:
clean toilets - powder room :D
clean under sinks (dejunk as I go) powder room done :D
put new towels under sink, extra tp, extra hand soap, etc
clean tubs
clean shower doors
vacuum behind toilets and vacuum floors - powder room :D
clean mirror - I still have to order mirrors for new bathroom
clean fronts of cabinets powder room :D
touch up with paint - powder room :D
Wash floors with water and bleach - power room :D

clean other bathrooms

dh is getting the remainder of the leaves (one tree refused to give up it's leaves until yesterday) :D

I didn't get to the laundry room/dog room but that has to be moved

tomorrow is shopping,errand day

order and pick up dd youngers prescription
christmas dd younger, d visitors, d nephew, something extra for dd older, dfriend, frango mints, uncle (gift certificate to restaurant), dh, dd younger to dd older - gift card to beauty place , thing that captures smells, nice smelling candles, selfie book, french books/magazines for relatives, pillows, christmas stocking stuffers -

11:12 am. not much done - I did take one of d dogs to vet 250.00 wow - I still have to order the meds in Jan 90.00 wow - all I can say is wow -
dishwasher broke...needs replacing as it broke already once this month
1:16 pm check in. I am still moving slow but feeling a bit more peaceful that I am getting the bathrooms done.
2:14 PM check in. powder room (except ceiling) is completely painted - it may not be the best job in the world but it has a nice layer of clean paint on it.
6:00 pm powder room looks lovely - it's amazing what a bit of paint does to make a room look nice
dining room straightened - it needs cleaning but not tonight :D

time to get some lunch and then work
----------------------------------------------------------

I still need help from dd:
move new couch into family room
remove old couch into 3 season room
lay clean rug on floor
replace furniture

what I need to do still in family room

hang up gate so dogs can not go into the family room when we are not there
spackle the holes in one family room wall. I had paintings - now I have only one painting
